I've read legit arguments against this.....mainly the cost of doing it for the gov't
I don't mind having to pay a fair fee out of my own pockets to see if I'm a baby's father. Instead of having society do it for men, we need to teach men to have the common sense to do it for themselves
I understand where you're coming from but... nope, sorry, fukk that.
There are so many LEGAL holds, bonds, and effects that come from declaring a man the father of the baby.
There is cost in that already. The government has no issue taking our money for shyt that doesn't matter anyway.
This matters.
If you are going to convict a man and take them to jail over the biological relationship he has with his "son", you better be able to damn well prove that it is indeed his "son".
It should absolutely be federal law unless the mother puts in writing to never claim anyone as the child's father (rape victims, abuse victims etc).
But, for the sake of discussion, I would like to hear what other arguments you have heard against it
