It is well-known -- that many Black immigrants harbor Anti-Black American beliefs. And many speak about Black Americans in the same way Whites do. It's a large capacity -- enough for us and whites to notice - that many Black immigrants do not like us.

Until you and others - own up to it -- and stop trying to act like it's just a few -- and it's not that big of a deal - we won't go anywhere.

You feel how you want. I'm not going to argue over that. At the end of the day black immigrants are not stopping African Americans from doing anything what they want in their own country. I dont' knwo what you want from black immigrants. I don't even think YOU know what you want.

It most definitely is true and I appreciated seeing that African brother from Houston calling in recently on an IG live of his to confirm it was true and that his mother and father were like that even when he married a Black American women. Most black foreigners are like this especially Africans. The Caribbean foreigners get more of a pass for it but they are just as bad. Anybody that denies any of this is lying.

When black Americans go to Africa they are made to feel welcome. SOME of you are just hell bent on hating..and SOME of you here on the coli post like you hate us more than whites.

Thank you

I saw that as well. I really appreciated it as well. He seemed really hurt by the term -- I can't imagine my family calling me a Anti-Black American slur - or a slur at all -- and treating me different based off a false stereotype.

But, honestly, it's not an issue to have anti-Black Americans feelings and views -- it is their business.

It has been stated numerous times -- that it's something they learn from their parents -- and family members -- even before they touch down in the States.

But, lying about it -- and acting like it's so rare is cowardly, IMO. It's not being "divisive" or wrong for calling it out and not wanting to be associated with people like that.

It's called being smart and having self-love and self-respect.

I do -- and will continue to feel how I want.

And that is not what he is saying -- nor what I am saying. You are clearly are missing the point -- or you just don't care to GET what we are saying.

Work on your communities and friends/families to stop the Anti-Black Americans comments and slurs. If not, it will only get worse.

I only thing I want is for those who are Anti-AA is to stop being fake.

If you don't like AA's -- and harbor ill-feelings and stereotypes about us and our culture -- be upfront and open about it.

Again -- It's not about hating. It's about calling out people out who hold ill-feelings about you, your people and your culture.

It's about being disrespected and having people who you see as "Black" call you slurs -- and hold anti-Black American views and feelings about you.

That is the issue you keep dodging --that is what he is harping on.

I don't even like Tariq -- but that is not what he is doing or saying.

I can't believe I am taking up for him - but he isn't saying Black immigrants are "oppressing" us -- he is saying many Black immigrants do not respect us -- nor like us -- and harbor - Anti-AA feelings/beliefs. Yet - try to act like we are "all the same" -- and it's all love. When clearly it's not.

From what I gather he is showcasing - Anti-Black American beliefs many Black immigrants have. It's the truth. And Black Americans should know this.

Talk to your family and friends -- and tell them to stop -- and work on it -- and he will shut up.

My family and friends dont talk about African Americans in any type of group context, so you need to keep that advice to yourself.

I'm at the point now where I don't even care about africans trying to educate other africans on their behavior. the same way i don't have any time to try and educate AA who have those feelings about africans. too late in the day. we're coming to a point where if you don't know by now, chances are you just don't want to know. which means you're deadweight and of no use to either side. that's alright as long as things are relatively peaceful. but if we ever get into a situation where it's not so peaceful then those people will be the enemy and I have no remorse or compassion for what happens to them at that point.

the late Honorable Carlos Cooks said we're gonna be 5 years dealing with sellouts before we can even begin to get down to the business of dealing with the white man.

I saw that video and that guy was specific. He said his MOTHER(who is Nigerian) has issue. His father is Liberian and he did not say ANYTHING about his father mentioning anything, espeically since alot of Liberians have DOS heritage and DNA. Furthermore akata is a Nigerian word. To me its more certain Nigerians and African Americans have some verbal beef, but you all attribute it to an ENTIRE continent. YOu may have specific issue with horners who are insular and keep to themselves, but in that regard they also limit contact with other Africans. YOu all need to be SPECIFIC and not address things as they are wholesale. Lazy minded ness and lack of critical thinking makes you lash out against others who may not even be involved with your point of contention.

I have never said anything "anti-African" -- the only thing I have done is call out "Anti-AA" comments and views by Africans.

That doesn't make me Anti-African -- nor hold any ant-African views.

But, that's great that your family and friends don't -- but I am sure you know of many who do hold Anti-AA views and make Anti-AA comments -- and you know it's common.

So, you can be an ally by stepping up -- and stop acting like it's not an issue -- or like it's not common amongst many Black immigrants --- and it's not something Black Americans don't have a right to call out.

I agree with OP. Tariq has attacked everyone. He went from Whites to Mexicans to Asians to Indians to Caribbean's to Gays then he ran out of ppl so then he starts attacking black ppl like Black gays, black women, Africans, black nerds, and even ppl from his intellectual community.

nikka will never admit when he is wrong so he will double down and take the "I'm Tariaq and I say so" route and anyone that disagrees with him is stupid, nikka talk, ghetto, soft-shoe, or a c00n.

You're right -- and I totally agree. I just like people to be upfront with their dislike and hate towards me and my people. Like whites who let you know how they feel -- I want them to be like that.

Which MANY do -- but at the same time they turn around and act like a victim or say we are being divisive -- or Anti-African -- when we treat them the same or put them on front street.

I keep saying this -- but most Black Americans did not grow up or live around Black Immigrants - so the anti-Black American views held by many Black immigrants are new and a shock -- to many Black Americans when they find out -- and they usually find out about them ONLINE.
