I saw that as well. I really appreciated it as well. He seemed really hurt by the term -- I can't imagine my family calling me a Anti-Black American slur - or a slur at all -- and treating me different based off a false stereotype.
But, honestly, it's not an issue to have anti-Black Americans feelings and views -- it is their business.
It has been stated numerous times -- that it's something they learn from their parents -- and family members -- even before they touch down in the States.
But, lying about it -- and acting like it's so rare is cowardly, IMO. It's not being "divisive" or wrong for calling it out and not wanting to be associated with people like that.

The way many go on its as if they would prefer their son or daughter to bring home a white man or white girl before a Black American. Now whereas some will go through it for a short time she was up on it for years and I know without a doubt it was because of my aunt(her mother) not instilling black pride in her or wanting to just live in white communities. Now in the past year she has been in the hospital and having mental breakdowns. That is something else we can discuss for another conversation but if you notice many of these foreign parents are so white identified that what is going on with my cousin now is actually common. Because they never truly dealt with the Black experience in America because of restrictive parents, they were not strengthened and didn't have tenacity to deal with big problems that came up later on and many become confused no matter how many degrees they have.

This is all I really care about. Black people are a noble race, so we always want our representatives to be perfect but it's unrealistic. Cacs take anybody whose down for the cause.
