Gets rid of Gil... then gets rid of Rashard (and doesn't have to waste the amnesty)
Picks up Okafor who is a very serviceable backup center.
Trevor Ariza is a great pickup for us as well. We lack players like him.
He's basically a futher along Chris Singleton. Trevor is the type of guy we can have attempt to guard Lebron/etc.
We lookin like a 1/2 seed right now if you ask me

i just dont think they're in a positon to draft out of necessity. thats something a first round exit team is supposed to do.

i aint gonna lie i wanted them to tank 1 more year for Shabazz or Noel but i like this trade alot(mainly cause of Ariza)

add Beal and i could see us making the playoffs next year

You have to move forward..It was a deal to help all of our young pieces in the long term. We have solid vets backed by young kids. This is the team we shouldve tried to create years ago.
