And the young talent they have now is who exactly? Don't speak about them in hindsight - Jrue was one of the best PGs in his draft, Thad was a lottery pick and Turner was #2 overall.
I'll take a healthy Embiid over all 3 of them. And Noel>>>>>>Thad. Saric would most likely be better than Evan Turner.

I wouldn't say only option, but there isn't anything else out there that really compares to Okafor.

I can't find many teams who could use/want a post presence like Jah but also have what it takes to acquire him...I would say Portland but they aren't moving CJ.

You serious? They're so much better off right now than their past life as a bottom tier playoff team

They've yet to win any games or make a playoff run. Until they make a run in the playoffs. They aren't better off and it'll be hard to say they are for awhile. If the players they decide to keep or get only get you to the 2nd round then all that tank was for nothing.

they have a better long term future than what they had with Bynum/Holiday/and Thad Young....The 76ers have enough assets to do whatever it is they want to do. And thats on top of the 1st pick in this draft. Being a treadmill team like the Hawks means nothing. As a franchise going forward they are currently far more attractive than they were.

:whoa:

He has a ton of talent but he's got his work cut out for him now though, there's a new Warden of the North, first of his name, protector of Minnesota and Lord of Minneapolis.....Karl Anthony Towns.

Nah breh he aint got shyt on embiid

Except, you know, for the fact that he's actually set foot on an NBA court :comeon:

Which is?
That they're essentially in the same place that they started in. There's still no foundation; you can talk up the "talent" they have now as if it's better than what they started with, but it's all Monday morning quarterbacking. The very fact your argument hinges on the health of a 7fter who hasn't even seen the court (whose health is still unknown, short term and in the long) after being drafted TWO years ago speaks for itself.

I'm sure you were making the same argument when MCW came off his ROY campaign (being better than the talent they initially had) and look where he is now.

Okafor
Embiid
Payton = Saric
Noel
MCW

Like I said breh, them looking to move Okafor and Noel is a re-run of the same shyt.
