James, Wade, Bosh took paycuts to all play in Miami. Harden didn't take one to play with Durant and Westbrook. And OKC gets blamed? Passing up title shots over small stuff has haunted many players and executives.

Harden not taking a paycut is the right way to go. He needs to look out for his future and thats why he wanted the money. I think him being in Houston is working out well... probably gonna get dwight.

They would be better than the Heat had they kept Jeff Green & Harden. Perkins & Sefalosha on the Court at the same time is painful to watch.

I think it was like an extra 500k a year. That's a lot for me and you but a superstar nba player? That isn't life changing money at all.

Getting Dwight would be big for Houston. Parsons is nice but after that? Lin and Asik contracts go up to 14 mill (each... for one season) next year.

Still can't believe we beat a team with Westbrook, KD, Harden, and Ibaka in 5 games. OKC fukking up what should have been a possible dynasty will be scrutinized for years to come

That front office acting just like what they are, a small market. they should have went for the leagues throat and payed whatever tax they had too. 3 top 15 players just don't fall in your lap every day.

Why are people acting like they traded away Harden because they thought Kevin Martin was an upgrade? :wtf: They did it because they couldn't afford him. The only debate is whether it should have been Ibaka or Harden that got moved. Martin leaving after one season makes no fukking difference.

A healthy Durant and Westbrook is all they need to be at or near the top. They had a 95 year old Derek Fisher playing Westbrook's minutes in the playoffs and people are judging them by how far they went? :heh:

Nah bruh, that was part of the "poison pill" offer sheet they signed. If any team other then the Rockets signed them they would pay the 15 in the last year. The Rockets are paying each 8 and some change each year.

As far as Harden goes, you have to remember that the Heat big three were all coming into their 3rd contract. Their Max would have been much larger then Hardens.
