What do they do with vucci mane?
Doubt he wants to be a sixth man

Well right now I think the starting lineup will be

Payton
Fournier
Gordon
Ibaka
Vuci

But if hezon looks good and develop fast then I can see vuci coming off the bench. He might not like it but oh well. He'll probably get traded.

I feel like if the Magic didn't include sabonis then the trade wouldn't be viewed as bad.

Not sure why you're getting upset or what players being injured /shipped have to do with someone's efficiency. You'd expect them to be less efficient actually. His usage will replace dions. About ~20%

Here's his other Stats last 40

Also in the last 40 games.
Catch and Shoot: 42 % on 119 3PA.

Gordon's coming off the bench, not Hezonja or Vucci. The starting lineup is gonna be Payton, Fournier, Hezonja, Ibaka and Vucci.

Orlando
i believe gordon can become a #1 option. he showed good potential last year and should only improve. no one is expecting a drastic improvement but even fighting for the 7th/8th seed with a young team like orlando would be good experience for them. it just comes down to gordon, hezon and payton's development. if they can take that next step in their game, add ibaka's defense and another perimeter veteran then they have something to work with. i still think they should trade vucevic for more pieces or picks.

oladipo was far from the problem so that's why this trade confuses me.

what do you think of vucevic? and do you think gordon is a player they should build around?

I like Vucci, I just think he's too soft. His game is 100% finesse, and I'm a believer that you're not gonna win with a soft center. (Unless you've got a top tier PF.. but is Ibaka a top tier PF? I love the guy, but I just don't know. As for building around Gordon.. I don;t think we can. He;s entirely too passive, and his basketball iq is shyt. Yea I know he's young, but for fukks sakes man .. if you'd see some of the boneheaded plays that he makes .. you'd just be like :snoop:

Hezonja and Fournier are young too, and Hezonja definitely needs more playing time.

Gordon isn't going to be playing the 3 though, only defending it, offensively he will still be right around the rim where he belongs. Look at all the PF's you've had over the years, they are clearly going to use Ibaka for floor spacing purposes on offense, which leaves room for Gordon to operate with. There's nothing that stops Gordon from basically playing PF on offense, that's how the Thunder were using Roberson, crashing the rim while Ibaka was outside. They aren't trading for Ibaka to give him a ton of post touches, he'll be used the same, maybe a couple post touches here and there but he's predominately a shooter now.

I think this move makes them a playoff team, there's more floor balance and they finally get some defensive help for Vucci, and even if Ibaka has taken a step back he's still better defensively than anything you could have gotten in FA outside of the Al Horford hail mary hope.

I hope you're right @Malta , but I just dont see it.. I think we're still 2-3 pieces away. I agree that Hezonja needs more PT. Problem is, he doesn't know the first thing about playing any kind of defense. Same can be said for Fournier. That scares the shyt out of me. Especially with the direction that the league is taking .. being guard oriented..

games 6 trying to be a hero and was clearly off
he could have played within the game plan instead of putting up horrible shots and panicking
game 7 basically the same except he played much better
if russell did what he did in games 6 & 7 the media would have killed him
but since its KD they let it slide
What? :mindblown:

They lost game 6 because Klay was making miracle shots and the magic that Roberson had earlier in the series faded away and he went back to bricking every three

They lost game 7 because of Westbrook. They were up 13 and Westbrook jacks up a three and tried to flop and get a call instead of getting a quality shot. He air balls it. On the very next possession Klay hits a 3. That's a six point swing and it gave them momentum when they were about to get blown out again. And down the stretch the only person that could make a 3 was Durant. Waiters, Ibaka, and Roberson all came up short from outside

Go back and check the tape if you think I'm bullshytting

And don't act like the media shows favoritism towards Durant and is unfair to Westbrook. They kill Russ because of shots like the one he took in game 7

Durant choked game 5 and 6. , 7 don't even matter we weren't winning that anyway imo. Even after that Westbrook airball we got back up 10. We beat them literally everywhere game 7 besides the 3pt line. Didn't hit 3s we lost

You had Oladipo and his defense meant so little, the Magic were a middle of the road defensive team, I think Ibaka while not what he used to be is still good enough to help propel a team to a top 10 defensive squad. He's going to clean up a lot of mistakes made on the perimeter.

Also, the Magic could go after Mike Conley in FA and use Payton off the bench, I think yall make the playoffs next year and I like the move to get Ibaka.

And they clown Brook for good reason, he averaged the most turnovers in the fourth quarter, and it showed.

Also take 5 three pointers a game while shooting 30% from the arc brehs

Didn't Durant shoot sub 30% on 3 pointers though?
