could be enough to get KD to stay, now you have a thrilling backcourt to go with a solid blend of bigs. Ibaka is blocking about 2 shots a game now compared to 3.9 when he emerged, hes not the same player he once was. cant believe they got the pick out of it too

I don't like this move for the Thunder at all, why trade a starter to get a guy and use him as a backup?

Not necessarily - this could be a move to get KD to stay. With this trade they probably need to look at moving Kanter for a big that can defend the PnR - Ibaka was a huge part of their defense.

You can't see they are trying to improve the roster BEFORE KD makes his decision.. This is a championship team right here..

He wasn't good against yall this year

He crushed us in the playoffs...he hit damn near every open shot he got...to the point the guy guarding him stopped helping on KD and Westbrook... AND he just relentlessly jumped over Diaw and West back even if he didn't get the rebound...wearing them down and tiring them out...

He got lit up by LMA but I won't hold that against him...LMA is pretty much Dirk without the three...if he gets it going from midrange there is not a player in the league who is even going to bother his shot...to tall to big to strong release to high...

Not to say OKC still won't beat SA in a series anymore...but at least as a Swag Antonio fan I don't have to watch Ibaka make what seems like every single shot he takes against us...

they were already a championship team
if KD aint choke games 6 & 7 they would have won the finals
they clearly didnt lose to GSW cuz they were a better team
they lost cuz of poor execution and KD was a big part of that

Huh? Ibaka is a starter, but proved to be ineffective in the playoffs.
