I would be shocked if OKC didn’t win the first 2 games at home.

But I could see a split when both teams head to Indy. And if it's 3-1 headed back to OKC for game 5...

Basically to me IND gotta win one of the first 2 road games bc I just don't see the Thunder losing 2 in a row.

Picked the Thunder in 6 in the other thread, but I'll go with my gut and say 5 in this one since it's the one stickied. I love the match-up due to each team's playing style, yet OKC seems to be an even more talented version of the Pacers with superior defense. It will be interesting to see how physical the refs allow the Pacers to be in handling SGA. The Pacers did a great job making Brunson, a similar foul merchant, work for everything. The difference is SGA is much taller and more athletic so I can't envision Nesmith and Nembhard having the same effect. Outside of that match-up, Chet will make life hell for Siakam and Hartenstein will feast on the boards. OKC's defense isn't going to allow the Pacers to consistently leak out the way the Knicks defense suffered in that aspect. I'm hoping I'm wrong and the series goes 7 games, but I just don't see it happening.

Indiana will play with grit, heart and soul and that will net them at least two game wins but ultimately this series will go to OKC. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will accomplish what Durant, Westbrook, George, Allen, Payton, Kemp, Chambers, Ellis, McDaniel, and Schrempf failed to do and bring the franchise its long awaited Championship
