I mean I wanted OKC to lose like most people but they didn't and the history books will remember this as a all time team and performance. If they can play how they did this and no changes to officiating are made then you may be looking at a dynasty. literally everyone BUT okc fans seem to dislike their play style. Look at the Jrue Holiday trade thread. People really don't understand the value of a veteran hand to guide young players. It's important. CP3 also gave SGA and Dort their first playoff experience which was invaluable.
Noone is disputing Jrue's veteran leadership and impact, but more so what Portland didn't get in return for taking on his deal.
Not going to muddy this thread with that trade talk, but Simons is a negative asset. He's been in the league 7 years... he's not gonna magically become a great defender. All he does is put the ball in the basket. There's a reason Portland wanted to get rid of him and gave two seconds away to do so.
Compared to Jrue he's not considering one is an expiring, while the other has three years left on his deal at $100+ million and looked a step slow especially in the playoffs.
Besides, Portland has no one to blame but themselves as they should have moved both him and Grant years ago when teams were offering positive assets for them.
That trade was essentially a salary dump for Boston, which teams typically give up picks for offloading long term contracts and not getting them in return.

Nah. They wasn't the front runners. When you watch the finals you gotta root for someone. Everybody was immediately saying OKC gonna win. That's the bandwagon. Pacers were the underdogs.
You using the term bandwagon wrong, saying you prefer the favorite in a championship doesnt make you a bandwagon fan
