Good Kidd Madd City

Hip hop has been very disappointing these days. I listen to these new blockbuster albums and they're so lackluster. I don't know what was worse this year TLOP or Views. I threw on It was dark and hell was hot yesterday and was floored by the quality of that album. It had passion, soul, grit, and a lot of heart to it. Back when rappers were hungry as hell and actually trying.

Got caught up in the A$ap Rocky hype. Both were cool, but I rarely listen to them.

Really wanted to check out Capone and Noreaga from 2013 or so, was super happy when I saw it in stores, bu they only dropped 3 great albums altogether.

Always been a Rae and Ghost fan since Cuban linx and Meth been a fan fave of mine outside his solo albums which I gotta cherry pick so I was sure that shyt was gonna be fire.

Nope. Throw away beats, zero chemistry, lazy lyrics. shyt just made me appreciate the track Yolonda's House even more after I violently chucked that shyt in the rubbish bin. :mjcry:

If you ever need new Jazz shyt to listen, follow madlibs shyt if you ain't already know. I'm not deep into Jazz but I appreciate the fukk out of his samples that feature that shyt heavily. The Quasimodo albums are two perfect examples to soft through.

Beats that Manhattan Transfer shyt I was trying to get into for a minute...just personally ain't my taste.
