I don't know how many times I beat Mario 3. I just played games over and over again. Now, I rarely, if ever, play the same game twice.

The degree of difficulty was much worse in my opinion. Still haven't beat these games till this day

The punisher(nes)
River city ransom(nes)
Castlevania(nes)
Ninja Gaiden 1-3(nes)
Prisoner of War P.OW(nes)
Eternal champions(sega genesis)

Me and my mom gamed a lot throughout the Nes/SNES era.

Momma was really hit or miss with her selections tho...

Copped SMB3:blessed:, then turn around and cop milon's secret castle:sadcam:

Copped Donkey Kong:blessed:, then turn around and cop Snow White :scust:

Video rentals and trading with friends save me.

I remember my uncle just having the Secret of Mana just laying around the looking at me like
:troll:

Little did I know that that was the beginning of one of the best gaming experiences that I could remember.
:wow:
No lie my little brother was like your mom: he would choose wack ass games to buy/rent, ESP rent :snoop: We took turns choosing games to rent at blockbuster every weekend. I remember one weekend it was his turn, and this nikka VETOED my decision and FORCED my mom to rent a FLINTSTONES SNES game :why: Never been more angrier at one of my brother's gaming decisions.

Lowkey my brother is weird as hell about games too. Even as adults we've got into it over videogames. No lie, my sophomore year in college I bought him an OG Xbox with halo included for X-mas. Swear to god this nikka looked at me like :skip::what::pacspit: and said that he hated the game and that I only bought the system so I could play it myself :mindblown:. Only game he ever :blessed: over that I bought him was Splinter Cell.

What you know about thinking there are only 13 channels... then being bored and turning the dial (yes dial) and getting to channel 56 and seeing the static turn into a picture and realizing its a station... seeing Godzilla for the first time on some asian channel thats not listed... then getting yelled at in the morning like:

WHO TURNED THE TV ALL THE WAY TO THIS DAMN WEIRD ASS CHANNEL?!

:lolbron:

I can't lie tho, I did some of my best gaming with my mom growing up. She played all the way through the ps2 era, my mom actually helped me cut open my first battery on the psp slim when I tried to get custom firmware

:wow:

My pops just wanted to play fukkin' galaga and racing because the controls were easy:deadmanny:

But some how he was decent at NBA Street
