Yep, Jetfire, got it for XMAS that year and broke it soon after
but know that i have money, i went and bought a mint condition one off of Ebay a few years ago and I've been trying to fix other Transformers i still have from childhood

There was virtually no white people in those areas back then. I went to school at Central, Paseo and Westport. Anybody with even a slight knowledge of that area and those schools knows they didn't have a bunch of computers and nice shyt. Which is why I was when dude said every school had computers and/or the internet.

History has the PS1 as one of the best consoles in history, but as a teen when it came out owning a SNES and n64 the first time you start a game a and it shows a black screen for 30 seconds and says 'loading' you are like what is this gay shyt?

When I was younger you didn't get every game, shyt was a strategy. You found out what the homies werw going to get and you got other shyt so you could trade off. We also had Blockbuster and other places to rent games from so you didn't need everything.

Today you only really have Redbox to rent from (gamefly for those who fukk wit it) but they (Redbox) only carry AAA titles. Also you have online play now so you HAVE to have every game. Gaming back in the day was a lot different than today.

I remember Mortal Kombat being something ridiculous on SNES like $75 or $80. My homie up the street already had it so I got one of them street Fighters and we just traded off games.

My parents also had Hollywood Video and Blockbuster memebrships so I got to play a ton of shyt.

Simple. Almost all good and bad jobs pay almost exactly the same wages they paid 20 years ago-- Yall new nikkas getting screwed still getting paid 8, 9, and 10 and hour at shytty retail jobs. The same job I worked 15 years ago and made the same money

while Ps4 games might be a LITTLE cheaper ($60-$70) and PCs are a LOT cheaper we paid LESS for EVERYTHING else from food to clothing to shoes to movie tickets.

I'd usually get a game on Xmas and my birthday and then maybe get one with the money I'd receive from mom/relatives etc. Other than that it was all about Blockbuster. If I was really committed to beating a game I'd just rent it a few times until I finished (Megaman X)

I had never even heard of Playstation until it was out. Christmas of 95 my grandmother got me Mortal Kombat 3 for Genesis, feeling great

Walked down to my best friends house and they were playing Battle Arena Toshiden. I'm like what the fukk is this

Nah most of us had the same shyt in the hood. We all had different games and would go to one anothers crib to play whatever. I remember taking Live 98 to my homie's house. That nikka aint wanna let me leave with my shyt.
