Somebody needs to tell Draymond that PodCasting ain't new media and active NBA cats been doing that for years.
It's a fundraising term. Similar to how when you see all those gadgets and gizmos that never get released to the public, it's to peak interests in possible investors. There's a lot of dumb people with deep pockets out there.

If I was the players I'd simply stop doing interviews. Freeze out the talking heads and worthless bullshyt. Focus on print media guys and other reporters who actually talk about basketball. SAS/ESPN, TNT, etc tho? No more access.

My only issue with a lot of these new media dudes (like Reddikk and them) is that they sound like politicians when critiquing a fellow player. Almost as if they don't want to offend fellow player cuz they will see them in social circles.

Most players aren't sitting down with SAS or ESPN personalities. They do on the court and post game interviews. You're telling them to do what they already do.

Im guessing Draymond's meaning is the new guard of current and ex players vs the Journalists who had to go to school and learn the craft for years etc etc..
