Know nothing of the guy, but the idea of drafting an undersized fast lb who excels at coverage makes a lot of sense in todays passing heavy league

No and I don't think that we should have. But this is definitely a show and tell year because Buckner aside none of the defensive linemen are worth the draft capital we invested into them (so far).

Hes a high iq guy and basically a lb/safety hybrid which the league is kind a moving towards

My only issue with him is that he also tackles like safeties a lot, not wrapping up and shyt.

Not bad..... my only questions are...... why wasn’t he recognized enough to be on one of the top championship teams like Bama, Clemson or etc

And in that first game...... even though he getting his highlights..... why the opposition putting that score up?

Your best ability is you're availability. Also QB pressures are nice but sacks change games. Buckner is the only D-Lineman that sees this in a sense. He said he is going to turn his pressures into sacks this upcoming season. I like Armstead as a person off the field but his pedigree says he should be doing more.

Doesn’t matter what defo wants if you have guys from off the street next to him. He was getting tripled teamed at times last year

Great players go to small schools all the time

Why did Jimmy G go to Eastern Illinois

Not every player desires to play for the Bama, Auburn or Lsu

Sometimes people go to colleges closer to home or maybe a college their family or friend attended

Not saying this is Warners deal, but i think its silly to count is a strike against him he didnt go to an SEC school

Let’s temper our expectations on Jimmy and let him play a few more games and seasons before label him great.

With especially the way some of us flip flop.
Today’s love, support, and admiration for him is quick to turn to hate, disgust, and calling for his job the moment he has one bad game or one bad season.

Cuz collectively, as much as we want players who are loyal to US, WE ain’t loyal
