They need a young good point guard and they have the probability of picking that with an 8th pick while CP3 is nearing retirement. This type of trade will have the organization looking crazy especially if your boy retires and now you have no potential picks and now Knox is looking like a competent player for a better organization like always and now they have your pick. :mjlol:

We have numerous picks and Dallas ain't trash so the picks we have from them wont end up being high. None of the pgs in this draft are sure things.... CP3 would have us not looking like an embarrassment on the court and win more games. Or should we just try to tank again and end up with another 8th pick and stay at the bottom of the east especially when our division is the strongest? nikkas ain't tired of watching bullshyt? :unimpressed:

Or or or here me out. We can get CP3 and draft the point guard of the future to develop under him with that 8th pick.

Am I the only one optimistic about those dallas picks? I know they getting better, but KP is one injury from missing the season and with the west getting better mavs can miss the playoffs and those picks become lottery.

I definitely wouldn’t trade the dallas pick the yr HS Seniors can join, that could be a deep draft

Randle/DSJ/clips first round pick for cp3 or tell okc to kick rocks.

Okc had a way better roster so they were able to make the playoffs. This knicks squad with cp wins 30 games

I said it a few times and I'll keep saying it, KP is injury prone and the west is probably the most brutal it's ever been. KP gets hurt every season and we just saw him go down with a season ending injury again, so the chances he'll get hurt again are substantial, and when he does it's then a question of how far can Doncic drag that team? Also like you said, that 23' pick is likely gonna feature a deep draft class since it'll include high schooler senoirs, and that draft class will likely have Emoni Bates in it too. I wanna roll the dice on those picks, I'm not saying that the chances next year's pick ends in the lottery are high, but it's there, so I'd rather the Knicks include their own lottery protected picks in trades.

Also the Knicks would be doing Presti a favor by taking CP3 back so they should play hardball. I'm not advocating for another tank, but guys like Lonzo, Hield and Oladipo could be available, it'd be better to pay a bit more to get guys like them than a 35 year old, often injured point guard who'll take up 40% of our cap room.

We on the same page breh. I’m not anti Chris Paul. I agree with everyone about why he would help the Knicks etc. But value wise, you guys are really underselling how bad his contract is, especially in a murky financial climate for the nba. THAT is what we are trading, SIGNIFICANT cap relief to a cheap, small market team. Presti can pretend all he wants that he actually wants to keep Paul but if that was true than he’d keep him. I’d offer Randle, DSJ and whatever team option player they like and that’s my final offer. OKCs choices are they can keep CP3’s 85 million in two years, they can clear their books entirely in 2021 with us, or they can trade him to a contender that will HAVE to send them a few bad contracts in return centered around guys like Al Horford or Eric Bledsoe. We legit have the best offer.

That’s pretty surprising. I don’t love him at 8 but I’d be fine with it. But to not even want him right outside the lottery is eye opening. I’ve heard people make whispers about his attitude so i wonder if that’s what it is. Medicals can’t be that bad can they?
