Cleveland is hanging up and throwing the phone against the wall.
This is what we need . The modern nba is like a lot of jobs with its about networking and who you knowSimmons just said on his podcast that people around the league are kind of worried about us and all the Kentucky stars. They think we’re setting ourselves up to be a Kentucky pipeline and that it’s smart because it’s the only real pipeline the league has and all those players know and love each other...
The problem with Horford is his contract ends in 2023 and it limits on for he next free agent class in 2021, where Randle contracts ends. I rather hold on to Randle because he’s only with us for next season. We can always dump him for a better deal by the trade deadline for a better player than Horford.
We still don’t know how COVID will affect the cap.
Before adding horford, we’d have 70 something million in space next off season. With him we’d have about 40 plus. The problem with Horford is his contract ends in 2023 and it limits us for the next free agent class in 2021, where Randle contracts ends. I’m waiting on the new cap to come into effect to see what it will be. Someone posted it can be down by 12 million from the 70 in free cap space. Before adding horford, we’d have 70 something million in space next off season. With him we’d have about 40 plus.
It’s not Horford. It’s the assets. It’s moving up to 5 and 21 plus an additional first we can use to trade him or trade for someone else.gettin al hortford is a terrible idea
same goes for westbrook
they handicap us long term
its chris paul and his 2 years ( that can easily trade in da last year need be) or nothing

I don’t want us to spend before we have a good idea where we’ll be. Philly, Golden State and any other team with bad contracts can have those problems.
Reading my mind fam! Our offseason decisions could be changed by where they set the cap. If teams are only shaving a few million off the top, a CP3 trade where we give up assets makes sense. If the cap gets cut on the high end then we could be in a position to say "we'll take him off your hands for nothing and we're the ones doing YOU the favor."
...also I really wanna try to force Darius Bazley into any OKC scenario though I know it's not happening.

I’d rather have Horford plus assets who’s going to be good on the locker room and won’t affect the win total too much even if it’s for an extra year than 2 years of Chris Paul that i have to give assets up for and could potentially play us out of a top 5 pick.
