lol Frank has improved. He’s gotten more aggressive, actually shoots now and was driving more and has been the best perimeter defender on the team since he was drafted. Yes, he’s not a star... i don’t think he was ever drafted to be one. Why is that not ok? What’s the point of throwing the baby out with the bath water? Point guards notoriously take longer to develop. Why is it crazy to say that i would love to see what he (and the rest of our YOUNG guys) would look like under competent coaching and development for once? Does Frank have a shorter leash then the rest of the guys? NATURALLY. But is he a finish product to written off at 22 years old? Absolutely not. The kid is 4 months younger than Obi Toppin.

Yes he's probably our best perimeter defender but we're terrible defensively & he's inconsistent & gets into foul trouble more times than not. He's had since 2017 to at least improve his handle (since he is a PG) so he can slash & maybe get to the basket or open court but looks exactly the same since he was drafted. His jumper is exactly the same; inconsistent & unable to consistently knock down wide open looks. His handle & J are 2 things he can improve on himself which clearly hasn't translated on the court & that's on him. You can't blame bad coaching for that because those are tools a PG in the NBA should have or can fully develop. Frank's done nothing to warrant keeping him on and "waiting to develop him with coaching".

Yea i just disagree with all of this. His handle and jumper improved. I personally feel like a lot of his fouls were just him playing aggressive defense that he’s not getting respect for yet. We can argue about how much he should have improved and i don’t know how we can quantify that, but Frank isn’t the same player he was as a rookie.

Lamelo is gonna be trash. Make sure all the young guys get heavy minutes and focus on the tank. Playoffs should not be on the menu.
Why tank if they already have Dallas picks for 2021 and tanking doesn't guarantee at top spot any longer. Plus the goal is to make the team look competitive to attract stars.

We'll have to agree to disagree bro. But I want you to keep this in mind. Kira is 19 years old & doesn't have a "flashy" game or handle but look at his skill set & handle. And now compare that to Frank at 19 & at 22. It's night & day bro. You give Kira 3 years in the NBA & he'd more than likely be an impact PG on a decent team

the statement jerseys are fine just the way they are

I just don't agree. He's had more than enough time to establish some type of identity either offensively, defensively, or just being an energy guy off the bench. Even though the coaching staff has been abysmal to say the least, the onus is on him to WANT to improve in one or more areas. There's plenty of other young players in the league that do this & challenge themselves to improve but Frank gets a pass? Nah bro. He seems to be content with being sub par. Whatever he's doing or not doing is translating on the court.

The other younger players get & should get slightly more of a pass than him is because they've shown more than Frank to be honest

I agree with all of this. The black statement jerseys are dope af and way better than that ugly ass orange shyt.
:scust:

Frank sucks. This is his last year to prove he's not 3rd unit because not too many teams are gonna want him if his offense is 8 ppg. Knox had 1 bad year. His rookie year was actually promising and he had games where he scored 20-30 points but let's ignore that and focus on Frank whos been here since Phil Jackson.

This will be RJ, Knox and Mitch breakout year if they are placed to the forefront. I think Iggy can put some dents in there too. They also need to bring in Wooten and Peters from the D Leagues.

I said what I said. :yeshrug:

I'm not drinking that Ntilikina kool aid but I hope ya mans does good.

We can. I’ve already conceded that Frank might not be a pg. my argument is that there’s a good winning player in there.

Yeah I don’t think we should tank either

let the young guys get the bulk of the minutes and let them sink or swim

If we suck we suck :yeshrug:

if we look decent, great, we might attract some free agents :ehh:

Facts, I'm just praying we get rid of Randle, bro. I can't imagine watching him spin in the paint as the first option again. :francis:

Trade that nikka and get some heads that can stretch the floor. Leon's job is literally that easy this season. We already got it rough being in the Atlantic.

Ya’ll nikkas every year say “we shouldn’t tank” and then complain when we can’t get a top draft pick. Yet you all want to draft the top draft pick
:hhh:

We tank 1 year and get RJ who might be the best player on the team...... but ya’ll swear tanking don’t work

:gucci:
Next year might be the best draft class in the last decade..... but let’s get FA’s to start winning now
:what:

Technically we ain't tank to get RJ, KP missed the season. And even then the new odds screwed us just like it did this year.:yeshrug:

:rudy:

We had the worst record that year and drafted the best player that is on the team because of it. It was tanking willingly or not.

:dahell:

Why is this so hard for ya’ll to admit that tanking made the team better?
