I guarantee that if we get blowed out by the Mavs at the Garden, the crowd's gonna call for blood. I just hope that PIlls are in the crowd when it happens. :hubie:
You know damn well they gonna be hiding. The band aid needs to be ripped off at this point, it helps no one with this shyt festering for the rest of the season. Hopefully they do whatever they do behind closed doors to remedy this situation until offseason.

My top 3 are Cole, Edwards and Hampton for now.

With Edwards and Hampton, i wouldn’t mind seeing Frank continue to develop and stay the starting pg and drafting either of those two at the shooting guard position and sliding RJ to his natural position at the 3 with Knox and Mitch.
A starting lineup of all Knicks drafted players... have we ever seen that?!? :ohhh:

I prefer RJ at the 2 so he can take advantage of his size, strength, and length :dame:

I feel like if you move RJ to the 3, he loses a lot of those advantages vs. other 3s

However, he is 6'7 so it shouldn't be much of a problem but still

This is my biggest problem with Frank this season... his being so deferential to Randle... it’s not the scoring. We can live with that, he’s the 5th option and is going to be the key to unlocking RJ’s maximum potential. But it’s clear that things happen more times then not when he’s running the offense. Even if it doesn’t show up in the box score. At least he tries to run shyt. Too many times he lets Randle take the ball up the court to iso into a turnover and he needs to grow some nuts and tell him to get his ass into the sets...

that's the issue. Frank's in his 3rd year and he is who he is at this point. you can teach the technicalities with all the Xs and Os, but you can't teach character. he has the IQ and physicality but lacks the instinct. plain and simple.

True, but Frank was very very passive on offense last night even for his standards. Never attempted to run pick n rolls, even with Taj. Never looked for his shot (only one time when clock was running out) and never looked to drive and kick. So I can understand Randle and Morris being pissed off and taking the ball up on their own :manny:

So I was wondering, Brett brown from the 76ers has been with them since like 2013 and they endured 4 straight losing seasons and tanked. They stuck with him and showed continuity and eventually found picks that thrived. hes improved as a coach and the sixers have now become a playoff team and one of the favorites to go to the finals. Do you think our fanbase or front office has the patience to go through this? 4 coaches since brett brown has been in philly shows no continuity on our part. I mean the media doesn’t make it any better but I think we should def continue to build through the draft(find a point guard) Trade the veterans for picks when we can and find the right pieces. DEVELOP YOUR PICKS!!! That means Mitch, RJ, Knox, Frank, trier, Dotson, brazdeikis should all get precedence!
I'm 100% committed to going through losing seasons with a single coach and front office. The issue for me comes in at the mixed messaging and slow to figure things out of the Fizdale coaching experience. When we were losing with Larry Brown, it was super frustrating to see some of our best players sitting on the bench because the couch valued veteran experience. But it was at least a decision that made sense even if it was one I disagreed with. I'm very ok with Fizdale staying for another couple of years... Especially if he has a working relationship with Mills and Perry. I'm ok with letting them figure it out. But I would like to see progress. Doing the same things that lost you games last year and expecting different results is not progress. Preaching defense and benching your best perimeter and rim protectors is not a game plan that makes sense. Particularly when they are your only lockdown defenders.

I want to see Fiz figure it out. I don't care about the record this season. But throwing out failing combinations and hoping that you can motivate it into a win....man that's just hard to sit through.
