These are questions for the front office and good ones. But the questions I'm asking you are the questions that I have for the coach. The front office doesn't determine whether the players start or come off the bench...the coach does. The front office may lean on a coach to keep a player starting and if that's what they're doing to Fizdale, then they all need to go. But if it's Fizdale's call then it doesn't matter WHY he was brought to the Knicks. It only matters what is his role is and how best he can help the team.
Now coming into the season I had no problem starting Randle because I assumed that the way the roster was constructed, we would be an athletic, push the pace, high pick & roll usage team. That's obviously not the direction we're going in and simply for that reason, Randle should come off the bench. He's a player who can achieve good numbers, and he can achieve those numbers best as a pick & roll player...NOT as a guy you run at iso or begin plays with. We're legitimately using him in ways best to make sure he fails instead of succeed. That's why I asked you if you think we are developing him.
