I’m a Fiz fan but I’m sorry if we had a better coach we’d have a better record. If you can’t use this roster to get to 500 you’re probably not a good coach. Raptors young core was a bunch of unknowns a few years ago and now they’re playing like a well oiled machine. They’re not even missing a beat after kawhi left.
Because Nurse is proving to be a good coach

that might be the worst “core” in the league. Our roster is so bleak

there all huge question marks. RJ is the only one who I feel decent about

shyts pure trash lol

Having two potentially top defensive pieces at Center and guard is nothing to feel good about brehs. Having a potential star on top of that is terrible brehs...Knox, Dotson and Trier ain't even bad. The problem is the Knicks suck at developing... Put these nikkas on the Spurs and you'd be taking different

RJ, Frank, and Mitch would be incredible on the Spurs due to Pop and his coaching staff
Knox would probably look a whole lot better too

who’s the star? You think Barrett has top of the league potential? No way. Maybe make an all star game here or there possibly.

as far as having a top defensive Pg and center if they can’t shoot in a shooters league what good is it? And Mitchell is not a top defensive center becuase he gets in foul trouble a lot which is a b-ball iq issue.

Knox isn’t bad? Lol he kinda is. And being “not bad” isn’t exactly how you want to describe someone you want to build around as part of the core.

even someone like you who’s an eternal optimist with the Knicks and thinks the roster is good every year what exactly do you think is the ceiling of this “core”

you can’t possibly tell me you think where set with these guys and that we’re gonn contend for titles one day day with the right coach lol

And as great as Pop is the Spurs suck right now because they don’t have great players

you seem to think a good coach can turn trash to gold. You still need talent

Robinson has no ball skills and fouls way too much. Ntilikina also fouls way too much and is too inconsistent on the offensive end. It's cool they're high level defensive pieces but right now I don't feel good.

The hope is Mitchell can be a vertical spacing rim protector in the mold of Gobert and Ntilikina can become a Marcus Smart type glue guy.

Barrett was once projected as the top pick in the draft but his stock has dropped some since his high school days. He's definitely tough, definitely solid, depending on certain variables can be a guy who makes some All-Star teams. But he's not a franchise player level talent lacks elite athleticism and elite ball skills, he's just solid at both.

Kevin Knox definitely sucks and you can find guys like Dotson and Trier.

He's 19, averaging 15,5 and 3 as the third option and has a feel for the game that's beyond his years. Did you think James Harden had top of the league potential when he was averaging 10, 3 and 2 on 40% shooting

Some of you guys speak like the know-nothings on ESPN trying to pretend like you really know sports with these broad generalizations.

Let’s look for an outlier to prove he’s gonna be a star lol

I think his comp is Derozan which is fair imo

broad generalizations? lol what did I say inaccurate?

Most people who cover the league or prospects or whatever think very low of our prospects

Yes I know there just haters who hate the Knicks lol. Yet I’m supposed to take your word for it when every year you think we’re gonna be good and we suck lol

look I have no issue with you being a true blind optimist fan but you can’t be surprised used most people don’t agree with you and I think most people have been more right about us over the years then you

nurse is piggybackin off a team and a culture that was built before he became coach.
nurse aint coachin shyt
steve kerr to a lesser degree
Y'all cats just say shyt to say it.

You weren't paying attention to the Raptors and the Warriors before Nurse's and Kerr's respective tenures (nor are you really paying attention when they took over); you're only going off some generalized, keyboard-militant, Casual-viewer rhetoric. You're not even aware that even when Casey was coach, they were running Nurse's offense; he was one of the main reasons why Masai built a roster to complement his style, which went away from the ISO-heavy sets Casey had in place, to a more team-balanced, ball-movement, player-empowering structure.
