I highly doubt anyone here is sold on Mike Miller being our future head coach. If we see improvement, we can have that discussion, and if not...

Sorry, I read "to resign" and not "to be re-signed."

My belief on whether Miller or anyone should be permanent head coach is not determined on having a winning record with this roster. It should be determined on getting the most out of the youth and the pieces that get minutes within the rotation

Well this is why we have to really understand what we're talking about here. You asked me about "losing the majority of games" which is what I expected coming into the season anyway. Not once have I stated that I thought the Knicks should have a winning record because I never thought they would. My issue is the lack of identity, the lack of ability to understand your teams strengths, and the lack of ability to remain competitive in games. I believe that in many games, the Knicks were trying hard...they just weren't playing like a team and that's on the coach. I HAVE stated that I think that there were a couple of games that the Knicks could've won if they were better coached and I believe that still. I don't think that meant that they are a losing team because of Fizdale.

So to answer your question specifically...yes, it should result in wins at some degree, but mostly it should result in actually looking like a professional basketball team. More wins than 4 doesn't necessarily mean, more wins than losses.

You seem to not get or agree with what mostly everyone else is saying in this thread about why Fiz had to go and what we want out of a coach at the very least .
What do you want in a coach and what do you think a good coach does ?

my point is, if fizz did all the things you personally wanted him to do from a coaching perspective, and we had 7 wins instead of 4 ( since you said his coaching cost us a few games) he would still be fired.

whether malone will be brought back will be based on wins and losses as well because mills convinced dolan our free agency was a success and we are losing because of coaching.

i want a front office thats know what they are doing. whether that be hiring a coach (for those of you who hate fizz so much, remember who hired him) and signing players that not only fill a void, but players that do not hinder the development of players we already have.

put your coach in a position to succeed, dont create an huge, unorganized mess, and get mad at him when he doesnt clean it up to your liking.

He would not have been fired because they only had 7 wins

Our coaches name is Miller btw. We've already debated your last point ad nauseum and I think at this point we just need to wait and see how the front office and Dolan reacts throughout the season

We don't disagree with you. I just also would like to know where you think this is about "cleaning it up to your liking" when the argument is "there's a way to clean the mess and he's just throwing shyt against the wall." I think there's a reason Fiz was hired, and it was based on relationships and a plan that never came to fruition. The plan failed and they tried to see if Fiz could adapt to the new plan. He can't. I don't see why this is argued.

gettin blown out in 9 of 21 games happens when you have a shyt roster.

40 point losses to way better teams wasnt something that was gonna happen every night. and it doesnt erase the 6-7 other games we lost close games to superior teams

hope da energy is the same when we continue to get whooped with a "better" coach
