these things take time, but i like what i see
RJ’s good play has been in spite of the coach and roster, not because of it. Seeing him make tough layups on 3 guys was never going to be sustainable. He was working WAY too hard for for his 15-17 pts most nights. I was just impressed that he’s doing the same shyt he was doing in college with no spacing, as he was in the league with no spacing. Not to mention his numbers at the beginning of the season are inflated by the ridiculous minutes he’s been playing.
You’d struggle to put RJ on the second team all rookie if the season ended today. That’s not good.
(None of this is his fault btw. Besides the free throws.)
