i just ask that he shows flashes. hes played well in close to half our games.
had some exceptional nights where he was puttin 26 and 9
these things take time, but i like what i see

RJ’s good play has been in spite of the coach and roster, not because of it. Seeing him make tough layups on 3 guys was never going to be sustainable. He was working WAY too hard for for his 15-17 pts most nights. I was just impressed that he’s doing the same shyt he was doing in college with no spacing, as he was in the league with no spacing. Not to mention his numbers at the beginning of the season are inflated by the ridiculous minutes he’s been playing.

You’d struggle to put RJ on the second team all rookie if the season ended today. That’s not good.
(None of this is his fault btw. Besides the free throws.)

Hopefully the Knicks get more spacing around him soon so we can see what he can really do w/ room to operate via trades starting Dec 15
Too bad Perry and Mills are still here to fukk this up even more

Nobody is doing this. I've repeatedly said that the front office made a bad situation, but my take is that Fizdale made it worse. I've said that everyone has to go. So when you do this sort of BS commentary even though I've said everyone should be fired repeatedly (including in quotes to you), it starts to feel like you're more interested in caping for Fizdale than you are in having an honest discussion.

I would send DSJ, and Trier to the Pelicans for Ball. I would be opening to sending that top 10 protected Mavs 23 pick too cause I think that the Mavs will be lethal by 2023

Morris (and maybe filler) would get sent to Portland for a 2020 first

Ball
Frank
RJ
Knox
Mitch

Now just hire the best shooting coaches Dolan’s money can buy. That is a mostly defensive squad with Knox being the only outlier.

Free Agency this year and Next suck, but shyt it’s a start. 2 1st rounders and cap space is not the end of the world.

Miller was brought in originally under Jackson for his understanding for the triangle. He keeps a lot of those concepts in his offense. But fukk if spacing was so glaringly important for this squad.

Still can't believe Perry and Mills had a fresh start w/ 70+ mil to work with and this is the best they could come up with
