I think Melo's made some mistakes in his Knicks years, and I think the Knicks not wanting to wait to try to sign him initially hurt them, but to blame him for our lack of success is unreasonable.

Try not to lump everyone in the same basket. Melo was a very polarizing player when he was here because he wasn't a Lebron type. He wasn't a two-way player and New York loves a player that will play hard defensively. Many of us definitely appreciated him and wanted to see him win a ring here
