Not at all. I understand your point. We actually agree on everything except Fizdale being a bad coach

You seem to waver back and forth between this team is marginally better than last year (which I agree with) and this is the worst Knicks team in franchise history (which, last year's was definitely worse)

Name a single time I've twisted anything you said. Just because you got caught saying it's on Fizdale if this team doesn't play better doesn't mean anyone is twisting your words. In fact, I probably have a better argument that you both are actually twisting my words if anything

Felt like Dotson went 1-15 and Portis went 0-35

Everyone missed a bunch of shots they normally would make when left open (except for Trier who shot well)

I really posted that to remark on the difference in offense pre and post- Miller hiring. That's a Fizdalian shot chart on the right. I'd argue if that's how Portland usually shoots that it might be one indicator of why they aren't playing well.

Things that have happened like DSJ becoming one of the worst guards in basketball, Payton being out, Portis jumpshot falling off a cliff, Randle being Randle, and young players not taking a leap are out of Fiz’s control.

this team on paper is better den last years team. its more talented.
last years team had better direction, and players knew their roles ( with the exception of frank)

i just feel like if we didnt sign all these unnecessary players we wouldnt be going through alll this right now

every knick fans comes into every season optimistic and hoping for the best. but once the season starts, and you watch the team for what it is, you gotta keep it a buck.

That reminds me i meant to mention a few days ago it seemed like the ones that were saying we should have been more patient with Fiz were the ones that had no patience with Frank

That's an EXCUSE

Being optimistic is "yeah, I think the Knicks can win 30 games"

Being realistic "yeah they can win 22-27 games"

Either way, they should be playing better than "if they're lucky they win 17 or 18.

I don't see what being optimistic has to do with you putting Fizdale's coaching ability on trial. That's not optimism at that point, that's you hedging bets against optimism. And now you want to backtrack either because you don't want anyone to know you had the belief that the Knicks were supposed to get better, or because you're not ready to give up on the belief that Fizdale's a good coach. So there goes the agenda that you keep trying to say the rest of us have.

I'm starting to sense where the disconnect is between us. You're more concerned with front office direction (which mind you, I'm concerned with ALSO) than with the coaching direction. I don't believe there was a direction nor any real semblance of roles outside of a select few players from a coaching standpoint, but I can see the argument (if I squint my eyes hard enough) for that being the case from a front office standpoint
