Portis has good offensive games sometimes. Trier also ain't always a walking bucket. I'm with you on the rest though.

The idea of Portis, a stretch 4/5, is way better than the reality. Knicks could really use a stretch 4 on this squad. I guess Knox would be it but he's just too frail for the 4 position on defense.

Still no trades huh? :stopitslime:

I'm betting trade rumors pick up post-New Year's. Lots of road games coming up and they'll probably want more time to evaluate some guys under Miller as compared to Fiz. If Trier randomly gets into the rotation while the team is still rolling, I'll be calling "showcase game" real heavy!

Ideally yeah, but currently I don't think there are too many teams that would give up a first for a player on a one year contract. The only other teams I can think of that might give up a first for Morris are Houston and Portland. Also, Harkless is pretty good, I honestly wouldn't consider him as just a throw-in to the trade.
Harkless is on the trading block :leon:

That would be a good pickup for yall....

He's from NY too, so you could resign him.

I would do this in a heartbeat. Honestly speaking, no beef, blazers might not make the playoffs and that draft pick would be a lottery pick.

Blazers first rounder would be higher than clippers.
Blazers would protect that pick. Tommy D suggested Morris for Harkless, Jerome Robinson and the Clippers first. I like that trade better.
