Just like with Frank, I'm preaching patience on Knox. You draft super young kids and you have to expect a long term development plan. Frank's getting out of the woods a decent amount, starting to flash more consistent finishing inside, knocking down midrange pull-ups and leading the team in FT percentage. But more importantly, you can see his confidence now. He doesn't shrink at misses or TO's like he used to.
With Knox, I'm hoping we see the same. His skillset may come around slowly but you can see some improvements defensively, ballhandling and awareness rise even now. When he's confident enough to just go for it, he'll start to figure out what works and doesn't work for his game more comfortably. That'll be easier to build on and he'll grow more quickly.
With RJ, the confidence part is there and you can see he's figured out some things. Recently, he's started taking the right side when it's given to him. Not always, but a lot more than early on. He doesn't pass up good looks even though his jumper is a work in progress. So I'm hopeful he'll get there faster than the other two and with a higher upside to boot.
More important than anything though, all three are workhorse types. I want those guys in the mix, growing together and pushing each other. I know it's frustrating but the payoff could be big because all our young work horses have complimentary skillsets. Frank/RJ/Knox/Mitch is a young core with complimentary skillsets as long as they build their tools up to a starter level.
