If they can't make any trades, there are going to be major problems in the 2nd half of the season

They've gotta find a deal for one of Morris or Randle imo. It'll make the team worse right now, but allow for a lot more focus and minutes to younger guys with a shot to step up. Ellington has been so hard that he might be hard to move, but maybe you find something. I'd take anything for Portis too. He plays hard, he has a clear role, but I'd move him and let Knox/Iggy/Wooten vie for back-up PF minutes. I assume they've been looking for something for DSJ but he's been out a long time and showed nothing, I'd still move Payton personally. Kadeem Allen and Frank is fine since we're not stressing wins.

Yeah, I agree with that. If you can get 2nd rounders for guys like Portis or Ellington and not bring back any salary past this year; that's a win in my book. Just make space for the kids. I'd be cool giving auditions for next year while taking a few more L's over riding out players we'll probably waive anyway.

What really annoys me is you see teams trade star players for picks and youth. Even if they didn’t want to develop the kids. Trade for the picks so you can lure a top tier FA and then trade for someone good.

How incompetent are these motherfukkers?!?!

If they draft another PG, I’m not gonna understand what they’re doing. I don’t get it now.

If they don’t get Wiseman, they have no choice but to draft another lead guard. It seems like 8 of the best 10 players in this draft are guards (according to most mocks).

I’d just buyout Ellington.
