My Pops Forever RIP
If they don’t get Wiseman, they have no choice but to draft another lead guard. It seems like 8 of the best 10 players in this draft are guards (according to most mocks).
Not necessarily. They can get Okoro or Toppin. I’m just not a believer in supermaxing and maxing your backcourt only to play them out of position to accommodate a 19 year old who you won’t ever find a position for.

harris was the best player on a .500 team in the west at the time too. his age and bird rights were already mentioned. philly probably overpaid too. still i get the point, and i think the tweet shows there is at least some real value to morris in the trade market. problem is there is no way this front office handles this correctly. :beli:

in my ideal world morris is traded for a pick or two and a new front office gets to use them

Morris isn’t gonna be viewed the same way Harris is though. Harris is still viewed as someone whose best years are still to come. I’m not sure who’s gonna jump out the window to overpay Morris

as for Wiseman, buyer beware guys.
Who do you like in the draft this year?

I'm not completely sold on him yet. He has good nights and he has nights where he looks like Waiters. I don't think he's trash. I just need to see more of how he plays and how he affects the outcome of games.
I think tonight is a perfect example of that too. Didn’t do shyt the first half and sorta erupted in the second half.

Y’all know how much i love trade scenarios... let’s say we trade Mook To the clippers for the sixers pick and it turns out to be the 23rd pick. Would y’all trade Julius and that pick for Markkanen? Too much or too little?

I'd try do that straight up. I'd also substitute a Dallas pick if possible. Markkanen seems unhappy, poorly utilized and most importantly...a really good fit next to Mitch.

you value this draft over others? I’m just thinking about franchises that are ran just as poorly as ours and what we could do to get over on them. Same reason i was thinking about Sexton.

Nah, I worded that poorly. I should have said, I'd substitute a Dallas pick if we need to sweeten the deal. Sexton, I want no parts of. I've said it before but I just find his game off putting. Undersized scoring guard...not my favorite type of player in general. But I like Markannen from both a potential and fit perspective.
