I think he’d be a solid look, plays the young guys and had a solid system with the Nets

If the Knicks are lucky enough to draft Edwards or Ball, Atkinson makes sense
Reports say Rose wants a modern coach so Atkinson, Becky, etc. become obvious choices
This way the Knicks can run Frank, Edwards, RJ, Knox, Mitch next season winning games while developing players the same way the Nets did (hopefully)
This also means the Knicks may not necessarily need CP3 if they land Edwards or Ball along w/ Atkinson
Becky Hammon has said she wants the Knicks job so the Knicks must give her a look too

Yeah Kenny was represented by CAA as well as Nyets GM Sean Marks. That’s a hell of a coincidence

Anthony Edwards can’t carry his team to the NCAA tournament. I’m already weary of guards who can’t do that. Especially in today’s game where one player is good enough to do it. Steph did it with Davidson and won a few games in March. The SEC is not the old big east either so competition wasn’t an issue.
