Anthony Edwards can’t carry his team to the NCAA tournament. I’m already weary of guards who can’t do that. Especially in today’s game where one player is good enough to do it. Steph did it with Davidson and won a few games in March. The SEC is not the old big east either so competition wasn’t an issue.

Edwards has star potential

However, he could either
1) tear up the league starting his rookie season
2) take some time to develop

His efficiency in college is concerning but I think it can improve. However, will Knick fans be able to be patient w/ Edwards if it takes him a few seasons to turn into a superstar?

I think RJ and Edwards have the potential to be a superstar duo.
Two guys who can average 25+ on the same team one day

Instead we got the 3 stooges getting all the minutes and a season with 2 coaches, half the FO fired, and one of the Knicks most tenured fans currently beefing with the owner

rj averaging 19/4/4 shooting 47% from the field and 38% from 3 in March w/ poor spacing and
playing w/ player hatin Julius Scrambles and Elc*nt Pisston

I believe rj would have averaged his Duke stats or better this season if he were
1) the #1 option as the main ball handler
2) had shooters at 1, 3, and 4



also is it just me, or does rj look more fluid and smooth and not stiff/robotic as of late?
he seems to be more explosive slicing and dicing opposing team's defenses

Whoa. Much smoother than I remember seeing dude move. He was so jerky before. That's a big positive.

That video shows some lowlights like some bricks and an airball but I chose that video to show RJ's improved fluidity on misses or makes
It seems like he has already improved his dribble a little bit and has improved footwork
I'm excited to see how much he improves in the next 5 years
I think he has a high ceiling if his jump shot ever develops (star or superstar potential)
I wonder how much he will improve next season after one off season
