He played 60% more games then Zion... he out rebounded Eric Paschall as a shooting guard... it’s not arguable at all...
Zion is much better and has the hype.
Paschall has been the much more efficient scorer and all the analytics favor him. He was also one of the big rookie surprises.
Besides, R.J.’s position is SG, where it can be argued that at those guard spots Herro, Thybulle, Coby White, Kevin Porter all have as strong a case if not stronger. Morant and Nunn are a lock for First Team.
Barrett is far from a shoe in he’s not
that good with his broken jumper, lack of finesse/bullyballing, and inability to go left.
This goes back to Knicks fans overrating their prospects. We don’t have a core lol. Knox and Frank have been among the worst players in the league in their first 2-3 years. Mitch and R.J. are pieces but have
a lot of room for improvement and neither are franchise players.
