I believed we would go 5-5 in our first 10. I don’t see that now. Maybe 3-7 if fiz gets his rotations together.
It's safe to say RJ, Knox and Morris should be part of our starting lineup.

I can see it as watching the game the talent is there however there appears to be zero system and no accountability . Why is Bobby Portis and DSJ allowed to make bone headed plays one after anotherI believed we would go 5-5 in our first 10. I don’t see that now. Maybe 3-7 if fiz gets his rotations together.
theres blame on both da players and da coach
and peyton for gettin in foul trouble, because without that he probably finishes da game.
but my point still stands, in the 4th qrt when the game tightens up, you need a star player you can trust to close da game or atlesst get some momentum stoppin buckets when u need them.
we simply do not have dat yet, and we will continue to lose close games and its not all about da coach.
i see some ppl in here ridin da nets cock talkin about they have a system and shyt but no, they won games because russell developed into an allstar player and reliable scorer when he needed to be.
didnt watch da nets game yesterday but kyrie had 50 and i highly doubt it was scores within a system lol
we just need better players
I also don’t want to give up on Trier either. Let him get his Lou Will on off the bench. Stop trying to make him what he isn’t.Exactly just keep it simple.
Payton, RJ, Morris, Randle, Mitch
Knox should be first person off the bench because he can come in for Mitch (play Randle at 5 for small ball) and Knox can sub in for either Morris or Randle too.
And then build from there. No need to have 17 different rotations with no rhyme or reason.
i dont no why u r makin shyt up lolBut how do you as a coach don't have a starting line up penciled in after having the whole summer and pre-season to get ready?
Payton is a known entity in this league and you had a whole season to evaluate DSJ, Frank and Trier. How do you come up with those starters and substitution patterns?
Is there any coach in the league that still has these questions going into the 2nd game of the season? And is there any other coach in the league that feels comfortable saying that publicly?

Do you really believe there is zero accountability?I can see it as watching the game the talent is there however there appears to be zero system and no accountability . Why is Bobby Portis and DSJ allowed to make bone headed plays one after another

80 percent of da line up was set ; mitch randle morris randle
the only thing he kept to himself was the starting pg
then mitch went down last minute so he had to make up a new line up.
you think because you are not told something that decisions havent already been made..fiz doesnt have to tell you or the media shyt until hes well and ready lol
you sound entitled
and yes, there are coaches in the league still tickering with their line in game 2 of a fukking 82 game season![]()
David Fizdale implied after Wednesday's loss that he may stick with Bobby Portis in the starting lineup over Mitchell Robinson (ankle).
"Whether Mitchell was playing or not I probably was going to come to this conclusion," Fizdale said of starting Portis in New York's frontcourt alongside Julius Randle. This is a strange strategy that will hopefully change once Robinson gets back to 100%, but the goods news is that Robinson only needs minutes in the mid-20s to be an elite guy in fantasy hoops. Still, Fizdale juggling his frontcourt rotations could be a nuisance this season.
80 percent of the lineup was set because there was no ambiguity for those 3 positions. He has to start RJ, Morris and Randle. It's in the spots where there's no clear-cut, obvious decision that he fails. There was even talk about Mitch not starting even if he was healthyi dont no why u r makin shyt up lol

portis himself said he was gonna back up mitchell when he signed to the team. i dont pay too much attention to the media games these guys be playing.According to Fizdale yesterday, this isn't true.
Mitchell Robinson - New York Knicks - NBA
That "probably" in there implies he hadn't had a set line-up and it sounds like if he did, he would have had Portis in it which I don't think any of us would agree but I'm speculating.

For some reason? Then he threw in Frank in there at the end with a 5 point lead for some reason.
It's okay to tinker but if you have no idea or direction of how your team should play before game one, then that's not NBA level coaching.
