That’s all I want to see if frank can help with the perimeter defense hopefully Mitch calms down with the dumb fouls. The good thing is with al our flaws if we hit FT we are 2-0

Pure speculation but I think pairing frank and mitch might cut the Mitch fouls slightly. Frank’s really good on rotations and that limits free runners which means less people for Mitch to challenge at the cup or pick up in motion. Just a hunch. I think you can go RJ/Trier/Payton main three and leave space to look at frank or dot or Ellington for that fourth plug in role depending on situation. At least until DSJ heals up and looks like he’s gotten himself back together.

You can easily pair him with the 3 best Knicks and use his defense to help. He's not the best point guard but alot of good teams don't start with there best players out there.

"Not the best point guard" is an understatement. He's not a point guard. But forget all that, i just get weak vibes from the dude.

I just look at his situation as addition by subtraction. The sooner we stop babying this guy and move on, the sooner we can focus on Knox, Trier, RJ, & Mitch.

I would prefer Dotson over Trier at best but Allonzo is strictly a 6th man not a starter. Mitch needs to learn how to stay outta foul trouble. He also needs Taj and Randle to teach him how to do a post move. For his height, that would benefit us a lot. Frank is a defender. When guys like Kyrie start banging shots, put him in to antagonize and let RJ be the point.

Yeah I like Dotson too. What's his deal? Is he injured or just in the doghouse?

As for Zo, I see him as a 6-man too. He just needs more work with passing and defense. If he can just be consistently adequate on defense, I'll take that right now.

I don't want Fiz terminated before the year is up, I agree that I've sent improvement in every game.

I still want to try out Frank.

I still want to support Randle as he does have a promising skillset.

I like how these players fight.
We'll really see their fight in January....and im not optimistic :ld:

Dotson can't be in the dog house he hasn't been playing at all. Dotson had shoulder surgery and we have wing depth, it's just tough to get him in there.

I wish Dot was younger he turns 26 this season but I like him a lot as a player.

Ya'll really don't want to do this, because we can make a feature film of Frankie Ntrashbag's career lowlights.

DSJ has to be hurt. He wasn't moving or shooting like that during the summer with his run with Trae Young & other NBA players.

Didn't see the game at all last night but I'm not quite ready to jump out the window...just yet. I like some things I saw the first game and in the highlights I saw against the Nets. If we were getting rocked every game I'd be more worried. If we start getting solid consistent pg play that will improve things tremendously.

Enough pretending Frank isn't getting a fair shake. In the game I saw against the Spurs, I thought Fiz did give him some rope after coming in and throwing 2 straight telegraphed passes my 6th grade pg's know better than to make. If Frank ever becomes a solid NBA player it won't be here. Too much mental trauma to his confidence. If he goes to another team and gets it together, so be it. Frank fans, look deep into your heart and understand it will not happen here. Maybe a change of scenery will help stop the bricks, magically develop a floater, and provide the speed and handles to beat his man off the dribble. I don't know. I just know it won't happen in a Knick uniform.
His defense hasn't been enough to keep him on the floor in 2 seasons. He'd have to be on a stacked team where you could hide him on offense. Think about that, Frank fans. You fashion your mans a POINT GUARD. That has to be hidden on offense. OFFENSE. A point guard. Thats an oxymoron, Frank fans.
