Frank has been put in position time and time again. He just isn’t good I don’t know what it’s going to take for y’all to realize that.
What exactly has been mishandled about Kevin Knox? A chucking, defensive liability like him may not have even played big minutes last season on a team like Boston, certainly not in front of Jayson Tatum, Gordon Hayward, and Jaylen Brown.
And y’all still going on about this DeAndre B.S.?![]()
When has he been put in the position to succeed?
outside of his 1st year, which he showed flashes of his potential. The next year, a new regime came in, and tried moving him to SF.

On top of that, brings in 2 other PG to basically take your spot, mind you dude is a Foreign born 20 yr old player. You call that being put in a position to succeed?
DSJ is a shoot-first PG. Knicks have 2 black holes in the starting line-up (Morris.Randle). I’m not a fan of DSJ, but he’s not being coached to succeed. If he’s not pushing the tempo and creating off the break, he’s useless.
I think FIz sets are garbage, but it’s a lot of new pieces, and it’s early so we’ll see. (He stole and flipped this lil zig-zag screen set on the top of the key from GSW, that I’ve seen run. I thought that was a dope one) But within them sets, as long as you’re not correcting Randle and Morris about holding the ball in the block damn near every time, you take away DSJ effectiveness.
Payton, will get you into your sets, and he plays decent defense. I don’t mind him playing. But you have a 21 yr old on the bench who can be developed into something way better, let him play through his mistakes, and be coached to be aggressive and attack. He’s already shown he can potentially be elite on the defensive side.
You can even play him of the ball and his skill set would still fit better with a starting line-up of (RJ.Randle.Morris) let RJ bring the ball up, like they’ve been doing.
Knox has played well, I’ve been just as impressed with him as I have of RJ. On a team full of Shoot-1st players, I was worried he wasn’t going to be aggressive and look for his shot. Him coming in and shooting is exactly what we want. RJ.Knox. And Mitch are the cornerstones of the Franchise future.
Fiz doesn’t run not one play-call for that young boy to feel empowered on that court, even after you see him get a shot go in, and he’s still trying to be aggressive coming off back screens.
Fiz is reminding me of Mike Woodson. When the Knicks actually ran Mike Woodson offense (GSW stole a lot of his sets on the low, which he basically just flipped a lot of Dantoni shyt) that 54 win Knick team set a lot of trends with that offense in the league. Mike just coddled Melo a lil too much and pick and chose who he wanted to be tough on.
Fiz kinda the same way. You can’t preach ball movement is all we’ve been working on, and the 1st 3 games been the exact opposite. Plus it’s obvious who the culprits are, on top of that you’re empowering it by letting the offense go through them consistently. At least Mike ran an elite offense.

Let Frank get some run
