Have you seen Russell's contract though? Just wait for the draft and start looking at stop gaps while the young PG develops. This dude Fred Van Vleet'll prolly cost half the price on his contract and we won't have to trade anything to chase him.

Bogdanovic is who I'd look at trades wise. Not a PG, but a wing with some playmaking ability that can also stretch the floor.
Also like I said before Russell was getting all that love last season mostly because it allowed people to shyt on Knicks more and also shyt on Lakers/Magic Johnson for trading him.

He was a heavy iso, poor to mediocre defender who didn't show up for playoffs. You would've thought Nets won 60 games last season for all the hype they got.

In free agency everybody was saying he would be perfect for the Knicks, but the moment he got traded to GSW media went " they're not making playoffs with that non defense playing chucker next to Steph".

We desperately need a point guard. A true point guard. I would drop Payton and Smith along with all our bigs excluding Morris for 1.

should have took the the 2 train to Atlantic Avenue and offered the max to D’angelo

better than this train wreck, I thought Dennis Smith would have thrived in this offense. You know some sort of defacto show runner.

He still might, he didn't look right physically. Maybe he comes back with clarity and health and starts to get it going. But I'm also readying myself for a long season.

Bogdan. They just committed a ton of cash to Hield (reasonable) and Barnes (no clue wtf they were thinking) and he's supposedly unhappy about it.

I think these guys will find their identity towards the mid to end of the season.

It's gonna take a few of these guys getting healthy and Fiz settling on his rotation so we have the continuity for them to find their identity and roles. But first, I'd just like everyone to figure out how to clean up the piss poor spacing we've got going on.

It also took a Caris Levert injury for him to step up.
