Dennis has plenty potiential to be a plus defender and if anything he’s good enough defensively to hold his own now if he’s HEALTHY. (See: Forbes article about his defense while he was a Mav Dennis Smith Jr.'s Defensive Effort Is Fueling The Mavericks' Hot Streak )

He also possesses the ability to not be completely useless on offense, which Frank is. And how did his dribble game get better if he can’t get by anyone or get to the paint off a screen still? And did you really just say a post up game from this soft French neega? :dead:.

It’s all good though. We’ll never get that eighth pick back and I’m starting to deal and heal with that :mjcry:
You're not watching if you think he hasn't driven past anyone this season.

I don't see what the point you're making is if he's always been inconsistent offensively at best and a ball stopper on offense at worst. His defense has been inconsistent as well and even at its best pales in comparison to Frank's.

Like I said earlier, my hope is that Dennis will figure it out and become a starting point guard. That was actually my hope that we paid Elfrid for nothing with DSJ starting and Frank being lead guard off the bench. But as the season has laid out this far he shouldn't have played as many minutes as he did because he couldn't even outplay a defense only point guard

Ultimately, Frank might be a good player to come off the bench.
On the one hand, I think Frank is the only point guard we have that will actually attempt to run a decent pick and roll with Mitch and Randle if it's in the gameplan, so I believe he's our best option starting offensively and defensively. On the other hand, I like the idea of staggering Mitch and Frank's minutes so that one is always on the court in the opening half. The idea of always having one vs a great defensive start with the potential for having neither if one gets in foul trouble

Pelicans are actually beating Denver without Zion. I'm beginning to agree with you guys, it's not the players, it's the coaching.
U reading too much into a regular season game anyone can lose on any given night

We ourselves gave superior teams like the Spurs and Nets a scare

Not to mention the Pels are stacked even without Zion in terms of talent. Denver is a very good team but they’re a beatable 50-55 win level team.

Isn’t Bullock from Kinston, North Carolina? Same town as Ingram and Stackhouse.

I guess his folks stay in Baltimore :picard:

You think we'll find our identity? I mean when I look at the talent on those teams, I feel like we can match them if Fiz chose the right rotation and better plays.
