Couldn't do it.

You think Frank deserved to be third in the point guard rotation after the preseason the 3 of them had? :stopitslime:

Frank was terrible. I'm just making the point that there was a reason he stayed terrible
dennis smith and payton were considered better point guards den frank by everyone in da world besides a few ppl in this thread. a few pre season game isnt gonna change anything.

and again, management is heavily invested in those 2 players, and therefore so is da coach. so again, BE upset at management for investing in new point guards every season

frank is that, but for da last time it isnt enough lol
how he played yesterday is how u have to bring it on a regular basis. stuff that doesnt appear on da box score should be a addition, not da end all be all.
And I think because you put stats on the boxscore, it don't mean you should be on the court. On a team full of dudes who put numbers up but don't necessarily help you win games, a dude like Frank should be valued. I don't know how anyone can watch the defense he plays and argue he shouldn't be on the court. I especially don't understand how you could watch an offense only player turn the ball over 8 times and be ok watching him be on the court. Maybe that's just me

I'm gonna try to stop now. I realize I'm arguing with cats who will watch a game and think a guy with an empty boxscore has no effect on the game. Some players are more than the stats they give you. Frank has BEEN one of those guys
Frank was an overwhelming net negative when he stepped on the court his first two seasons :heh:

Who was the far and away better defensive player out of the 3? Okay, combine that with him being the best offensive player in the preseason, then I don't see what preconceived notions has to do with anything. You said he DESERVED to be the third starting point guard behind two point guards who never made strong cases to be starting point guards. I'm asking you to back that up with anything tangible leading up to the season. We ALL said Dennis needed to improve from last year. Elfrid lost his position to better point guards last year. Frank played great basketball over the summer. Elfrid and Dennis showed nothing prior to game 1. So how'd he deserve to be the last point guard off of the bench in a game where no point guards were in the starting lineup.

no one cares about pre season breh
dennis smith has probably had 10 15 games better den frank coming in the da season

elfton peyton was a new point who had a stretch of 5 straight triple doubles . if frank even had 1 triple double you would have a orgasm.

no one ever doubted frank can play, we spoke of him playing scared. playin defense alone isnt good enough in a offense dominated league.

you cant be happy with triple 0 statlines just because he held someone to below 50 percent shooting breh:russ:

this aint da 90s

Overwhelming? Now who's exaggerating.

He barely played half the season last year. Still for the season, he had a better+/- than Dennis, THJR, Kevin Knox, Enes Kanter, DeAndre Jordan, and Emmanuel Mudiay

I don't care what my point guard is scoring if he's disrupting the whole offense of the other team if it's running through their point guard. You're okay with your starting point guard allowing his assignment to do whatever if he's scoring 20 ppg. That's not winning basketball breh.

He had a -5.7 box plus minus and -0.8 value over replacement player. :heh:

Only Kevin Knox was worse out regular rotation players.

I don't know where you get your stats from but uh....

New York Knicks
B-R. I’m looking at box plus minus and value over replacement player.

That traditional +/- taken in that context can be misleading and Ntlikina’s traditional +/- is still awful which supports what I said about him being a net negative on the floor his first two seasons.

You said an "overwhelming net negative" which actually applied to Kevin Knox who played in 30 more games and averaged more minutes.

Question: wouldn't those particular stats skew if a player was pulled when he played bad, as he played bad vs other players who are just substituted normally within the flow of the game?

I don’t know why you keep arguing with them fakkits. They’re known frank haters and every time he shows potential they seem to down play it. Dude went off yesterday and was integral part of our win. They still in here hating on the man wtf:what: theyve seen the circumstances frank been going through and still hate on him. For god sakes Fiz didn’t play him on Christmas Day last year when his mother came to see him. That some fukked up shyt and I would’ve slapped Fiz for that shyt. Frank is clearly our best perimeter defender and we need him in order to stop teams from going off on us. The only other guards with a semblance of defense are RJ and Dotson. The rest are trash. But naw let em play DSJ all day and watch opposing point guards put him in a blender on the way to the basket. They must like seeing that.:manny:

give props for dude developing and stop being a$$holes:ufdup:

nobody wanna come to this franchise but when we see one of our draft picks improving we should be proud .

And just Incase no one knows who I’m talking about I’ll tag them @ISO @seemorecizzy :birdman::pacspit:

saying you happy with your starting point guard scoring point zero points and not being a offensive in some manner makes no sense to me. but to each their own
if you name your top 20 pgs in da league, im 100 percent sure that all of em are offensive threats in some manner and are puttin up double digit points.

i dont think its unreasonable to expectmy starting point guard to avg double digit points in a offense league.

i like da frank i saw yesterday, it seems like you like any version of frank.
