I want him to play with a point guard who can actually do what a PG is supposed to do and that's get in the paint and create. Knicks have neither. I want the Knicks to trade him anywhere else.

They actually have point guards who can get in the paint and create. That's not why Julius isn't succeeding. PG's can't do anything in the paint when you have 2 or 3 other players in the lineup who like to operate in the paint as well. That's the bigger issue.

Tell me....how would a point guard who gets in the paint and creating have any effect on Julius Randle bringing the ball up the court, passing the ball around the 3 point line, getting it back, and then forcing a 1-on-1 dribble drive into a turnover?



Even Dennis Smith (who is the type of PG you're hoping for) ain't making Randle look good out there.
