Gianna’s has 29 and 15 in about 3 quarters on y’all too and y’all was ready to crucify Fiz. Y’all didn’t have a Damian lillard then either. Fiz kept y’all competitive. Y’all barely lost a lot of games to contenders. Miller got y’all losing by double digits to another trash team
Breh...we weren't ready to crucify Fiz after that loss. I'm pretty sure most of us expected that to be a loss, and most of us weren't entirely surprised at it being a blow out. But when you expecting this and hoping for a loss, and then see this....

You'd be fukking mad too. Especially when this....

is a consistent theme of your offense throughout the season. I'm pretty sure if I go through Twitter, I'm not going to find this...

Frank has been getting shytted on and criticized for 2 years before even Randle joined the knicks for his lack of aggression. Dude is legit shook out there on the court but yea take away Randle and Frank gonna be Westbrook on the court. :skip:
Frank's lack of assertiveness doesn't hinder the functionality of the offense and the players around him to the degree that Julius' aggression and boneheadedness does. That's the difference here.

You think that just because Julius scores x-amount of points and grabs x-amount of rebounds that it somehow means he's less to blame than Frank, when it's the exact opposite. If Julius stopped trying to demand the ball + overplaying his hand, and instead exerted energy where it would help the team (setting screens, passing the ball to players in greater scoring position and/or balancing touches, and doing all the dirty work on defense), instead of only looking out for himself, he'd be a better player and have more positive impact towards the team, even if at the end of the game he only had four points and four rebounds.

I actually formulate all my argument based on what I see on the court. I don't blame Fiz for Julius Randle doing Julius Randle things. I blame Fiz for encouraging Julius Randle to do Julius Randle things. All the things that I've complained about all year....significantly lessened since Mike Miller has been coach. I do anticipate that with a consistently good offensive and defensive system, that nights like tonight will be lessened as well. It's cool, I understand a breh like you only deals in wins and losses. I can respect that.

Damian Lillard went 8-12 from 3
The Knicks went 5-34 from 3

Knicks don't have a Damian Lillard on their team

That's my explanation.

As far as the team's identity, Mike Miller has had 1 full practice as head coach. Fizdale has had since training camp to develop one. I'm willing to give Miller a few games just like I gave Fizdale. The first game he coached better than expected. This game was how I expected him to coach last game. I'll be concerned if the Knicks play this way against Golden State

I'll see you brehs tomorrow. No one cares about these moral victory thoughts but I think we should be encouraged that we lost this game on crazy Lillard 3-pt shooting and missed jumpers coming off of good sets. I don't anticipate if we keep running the same system Miller is running, that we'll continue to miss the shots we were missing tonight...and that will lead to better nights than tonight. Hopefully.

I'm gonna need Miller to shorten up this rotation though. No reason DSJR should be first PG off the bench. Also, he should be making Frank & Mitch a tandem that gets significant minutes together and running a specific defensive system with them in mind. Will be watching to see what he does tonight
