Watching Zion go off for 17 points in 3 min makes you feel for RJ

All these young teams are emphazing the young guys giving them the opportunity to shine

They got RJ in the corner watching Dubious Handles

I noticed in the beginning of the season RJ was featured more and was racking up assists and rebounds

Then they started making him play off ball and watch from the corner

They need to give all the shots Dubious Handles took back to RJ and run the offense through him

Get rid of every single vet you signed including Dubious and play the kids :stopitslime:

nikka PLEASE, RJ couldn't hit 4 straight open threes if you gave him it like Zion did last night

RJ is a work in progress with no jumpshot, he is a one trick pony right now he goes to the basket that is the only thing he is good at.... his shooting is streaky at best and he has improved his free throw shooting, but he has alot of work on his game and he doesn't have zion's motor and that double jump zion has

and his playmaking ability is so so , we as knicks fans have to stop overrating attributes players have, it is why we still holding on to that French bum when it is obvious he should be in the g league getting his confidence the last two seasons even DSJ should have a stint in the g league not playing against the lakers in his first game action

Season's been a waste so far, breh. Outside of what we saw from RJ in the beginning and I guess Frank actually trying to score, there's literally been nothing to be happy about. Like, I'm still tight DSJ regressed so much, man. :unimpressed:

:mjtf:
of course you turn this into rj vs. zion
:mjlol:
I was making a point
By that 1 game Zion is the greatest 3 point shooter of all time:mjlol:
The Knicks are not a fun team to watch playing all these vets when they are not even close to making the playoffs
It doesn't make any sense
Run the offense through your #3 pick and develop the future of your team

They wouldn't be a fun team watching knox, mitch, dotson,rj,dsj, igor and frank at all neither matter off fact you wouldn't watch because none of them are game changing players are even looking like starters if we are honest... RJ and DSJ have the potential but DSJ looks like he is finished and RJ is in his first year, so i am not hard on him yet

rj hit 5 3s against a tough milwaukee defense
He has the potential to get better as a shooter and once he does, I wonder how
much that will open his driving game
Let's be honest, a lot of you only wanted Zion and Ja and are using that as the barometer to compare RJ to
I feel it's unfair considering the offense doesn't even run through him and the completely toxic environment the Knicks have put him in
Who is going to thrive statisically when they are not being used to their strengths, are surrounded by people that makes your weaknesses more of a problem, and have the offense running through Dubious Handles?

You have some valid points here. However, RJ has vastly improved on his perimeter shooting over the last few games and as a rookie, that's good.

Frankie has not been shooting good but he's been getting people open with some good opportunities. The problem is that those guys can't shoot so when you pair him with shytty people like Randle or Portis, it makes him look bad in assist.

There are games where he has shot at 50% and looked good but being overshadowed by Payton as stunted his growth. This also applies to Knox.

Some of us are not saying that the rookies are good but to let them play and find their rhythm. The reason why the Pelicans rookies look impressive is because they have been playing minutes all season starting off with a record as bad as the Knicks.

These vets are fukking trash and turnover prone outside of Morris and Bullock. I said it in another thread before I was negged by @KnickstapeCity that Alvin Gentry would've been a great coach for this team from seeing him coach the suns. He would've benched Randle and screamed at him for the dumb shyt he does.

The only way that these rookies will ever get better is if a Popovich type coach smacks the shyt outta Mills and tells him no to giving these vets minutes or if a CP3 type star tells FO, I will not play with a lineup of vets, otherwise we're fukked.

exactly
people complaining about the young kids but they have to be put in the position to succeed in the first place
1. How do you put RJ in a position to succeed?
You know RJ is ball dominant and needs the ball to be effective
I cannot count how many games where it looked like RJ was bound to go off for 30+, and the vets freeze him out trying to take the shine
Tell me that doesn't have an effect on the rookie?
You also surround him w/ a bunch of selfish, low IQ, non defense playing non shooters
Yet you guys turn around and wonder why he is struggling?:mjlol:
"Why can't RJ put up 17 in 3 mins like Zion?":stopitslime:
Maybe if the vets kept feeding him the ball when he is hot, he could have a big scoring game:stopitslime:and increase his confidence so he can build on it for his development

2. How do you put Knox in a position to succeed?
Knox attacked more last season and had that little floater going
It's nowhere to be seen now
He is a spot up shooter now
Run some plays for him if he is not good at creating his own shot right now
They should be running curls, cuts, and off ball screens for him to get free all game
How can he get a rhythm when he is playing spot minutes behind Morris who does nothing for their playoff chances?:mjlol:
"Knox is a bust so fukk him:mjlol:
Yeah watch him get traded and explode on a team that knows how to use and develop young players properly

3. How do you put Frank in a position to succeed?
Frank might not be a starting PG but he can play an important role off the bench
Every team needs a guy like Frank who doesn't fill up the box score but impacts the game

4. Then you have Trier, Mitch, etc.
Mitch has a lot of potential but it seems no one is developing him at all
He makes the same mistakes as last year
And Trier? Trier doesn't play:mjlol:

Yooooo that Dubious Handles moniker is hilarious i can't lie
