based on what?
based on the knicks' luck and dolan of course
always expect the worst and hope for the best when it comes to the knicks
that way if perry and mills are still somehow here you won't be surprised :francis:
what indications other than masai rumors and the knicks being a dumpster fire makes you think dolan is getting rid of his right hand man mills?
the knicks have always been this way under mills and yet here he is
unbelievable

Turns out we’re second in the league amongst minutes played by guys 22 or younger. I wonder what percentages for crunch time (or truly meaningful minutes) looks like league wide.

Mike Vorkunov of the Athletic said:
Consider this stat, which might surprise you: As of Monday morning, the Knicks had given about 40 percent of their minutes to players 22 years old or younger — second in the NBA behind only the Hawks, according to numbers derived by The Athletic’s Seth Partnow. New York, with its oodles of big men and fluctuating rotations, has actually devoted a significant portion of minutes to the players most in need of time and basketball nourishment.

Still, it might not be enough. Take the Pelicans — 33 percent of their roster (Zion Williamson notwithstanding because of his injury) are 22 or younger, but they had played 39.5 percent of New Orleans’ minutes as of Monday. Or Atlanta, which has used up 35.3 percent of its roster (including two-ways) on players 22 and younger, but leads the league by giving them 53.5 percent of its available playing time. The Knicks, however, have young players take up 40 percent of their roster and had them use up 40.8 percent of their playing time.

steve stoute saying winning "cures a lot" but marketing "cures all" :mindblown:

what the fukk does that even mean :dwillhuh: no it doesnt. i feel like im going crazy with this shyt.

theyre the most valued franchise in the nba and keep the arena full while being historically AWFUL. what marketing boost could they need? its the furthest thing they should be concerned about.

i think theyre worried about not looking "cool" since KDs comments. Well free agents won't give a shyt about a brand makeover. winning is cool. playing with good, young players who are clearly developing into something is cool. right now we're losing with 5 veteran FAs starting and the young core looking terrible. NOT COOL. :russ:

god damn theyre stupid

I just realized this brand agency shyt is probably in response to what KD said. (Forgive me if the articles mention that, I didn’t read them).

We’re literally the worst situation in the league. Nothing substantial to build around. Nothing close to a franchise player. The upcoming draft is gonna be one of the worst drafts in awhile so a high pick means very little.. it’s just depressing.

the scariest part is the FO is desperate to save their jobs would it shock anyone if they gave up future unprotected picks for Lamarcus Aldridge and Derozan or some crazy sh1t?

The sad thing is we’re in an ok position to go up, it can’t get that much worse but to get better it’d take Dolan getting rid of the gruesome twosome and telling them they aren’t authorized to make any deals. Then finding someone who actually has a mind if Masai won’t come.

BRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOKKKKKKLLLLLYYYYYNNNN
It can be fixed but it needs to be fixed now, not this summer and not next season. They need to clean house and get rid of all the vets by any means necessary then bring in the d league guys to fill out space. Then work from the young guys and only buy stars. The only guy, I may give a max contract to on the roster is Morris.

They need to announce that every vet is on the block.
