Honestly considering the short window he had to show off, we might be able to get him at a rebate. The problem is Detroit has money too. We have more though, but we need more as well.

The short window is what scares me. He is an UFA, if detroit offers him 3/45 mil. I’m afraid we going 4/60 to outbid them.

Even the 10 games he played with pels last yr he averaged 18.

I would take a chance on him, but not on a long term contract. Fukk it, I would offer him a big 2yr deal but the 2nd yr has to be team option. If he balls out, extend him to a 3-4yr deal, if he fizzles out, decline team option.

Atkinson really did work wonders for the youngsters. Mike as associate head coach for the X's and O's would make for some dynamic duo ish.

Yep, 2/45 with a team option. Would be a short term risk but fukk it that isn’t even half the space we got. I would add that and then go after Joe Harris (If Atkinson is the coach) and Josh Jackson as a guy who might have upside coming off
the bench. Then get a coach like Atkinson whose shown that he can develop youth.

It’s hard to gauge based on the talent we have, but Atkinson has a better system on offense and the Nyets are right now a better team on defense but we have better defensive pieces. In the East I want to see what Kenny could do with a roster of young guys. There are some interesting pieces here.
