In this case though; it's a guy who also had connections in the building because he was part of the JVG Knicks coaching staffs. Thibs is home grown and if he's willing to take on Woodson and Miller as assistants; I actually like the meeting of the añdefensive minds we have brewing.

Like I said, that says more about you than them. I've been a Knicks fan my entire basketball life, but enjoy the NBA as a whole. I can easily turn off the Knicks when they display the chits, and feel unfazed.

I got a foot out the door. That’s what it is. I’m going to see how inept and corrupt this team is this summer and I might fully be out. Which says a lot cause I post in here often, but yeah this is about it for me.

But at least it wasn’t this openly corrupt until now. The foxes run the hen house is the best metaphor for where we are going. I don’t want to deal with that, I am willing to see who they draft and add in FA but if they are CAA clients I’m wiping my hands of this team.

Nah, it’s a offensive league, and all this defense means nothing if they aren’t going to shoot a 3pt shot.

Also him being an assistant here in the 90’s is a stretch to being relevant. Kenny was both a assistant here, an assistant under the best coach in the league in Bud, and did exactly what we needed from a coach.

Thibs favoritism hire is BS. Him getting 5 years..... after the fiasco he orchestrated in Minnesota is a joke. I been a fan for almost 30 years, and like I said before I got a foot out the door.

I think it's a bigger stretch to assume Thibs won't implement changes to adapt to three ball than it is to value 90's era Knicks personnel . If Thibs sucks, I'll be fine trashing him but I'm willing to wait for him to actually suck before I do that. I think it was JVG that said winning players don't have bad things to say about Thibs, I'll evaluate him on a closer look instead.

Hiring your friends over talent leads to L's, it just does. Thibs coaching history and coachin style makes that even more likely because outside of this hire both are mostly phased out. CAA officially running the knicks feels like all the other worst knicks arcs coming together for one end of the world party.

I'm a lot more optimistic than you on CAA fam. The front office hirings have been really, really promising. I think the Harper move had Brock Aller written all over it. I think Thibs' success or lack of success will be more decided by the decisions Rose makes with free agents and draft picks than anything else.
