If you could move up to draft Ball, would you do it, and who/what would you give up for him?

Would you rather tank next year instead of moving up?

This is probably a realistic starting point for #1

Knox, #8, 2021 NY #1 (top 3 protected at worst, but likely unprotected), Dallas 1st for #1/Spellman/Evans

Hell no.... HELL NO.

That is the type of trade that only makes sense if more than Talent, the Knicks want to appease CAA clients, at 8 the Knicks need to draft a non CAA talent or it will be a misfit/reach.

Even the mocks having them take Toppin and Vassell are based more on then being CAA clients than need/fit/talent.

This is mainly to see if the Knicks really really want LaMelo. That's likely what it would cost. On the surface, some would think it's not enough, but both sides would accomplish what they're looking for.

:yeshrug:

The way I look at it, this draft is too weak to trade anything from 2021. Even a Mavs pick that could be in the 20’s.

Ball might be Elite, but 2021 is full of likely to be elite players.

:whoa:

#1 and James Johnson

for

#8, #27, Knox and Randle.

KAT, Culver, Okogie, DLo, Yall are good at the 5, 3, 2 and 1.

Get Randle for Johnson and upgrade your 4 spot while also giving yourself a team option for 18 mil in 2021.

#8 you can still get a guard prospect that can play off DLo if the goal is Edwards/Ball, along with another prospect at #27 - maybe Precious, to be more big support for KAT.

Knicks get a potential star.

Minny gets a 3rd offensive option off the bench or next to KAT, 3 prospects and the chance to get $18 mil in cap relief the following season that Johnson's contract wouldn't allow for.

Go tell your team to take it. :damn:

I wouldn’t do it. I don’t believe in trading up for number 1 ever. Cause if the player was truly worth it, why would he be available?

We got to trust our front office. This wasn't in anyone's control, its how the Knicks react that will be different.
no more blind trust
let them make some moves to prove they are different
if not, its just gonna be da same old story.
im already seeing a lot of CAA related hires

We got some new blood that have shown in the past that they can get it done. They do have to earn our trust., but I am more excited about them drafting our talent than anyone else in the past few years.

Ya’ll need an exorcism.

How the Warriors that have been the most winningst team in nba history have one down year and still end up doing better in the draft in one year than ya’ll in 20. That shyt ain’t right.

Ain’t no good players in this draft after 3

Damn:wow:
Seriously :francis:How's this not bullshyt?
