I find the discussion of drafting positions other than PG....disturbing.

I agree with @Wargames and I'm damn near 50! In this draft especially, with the draft position they have, PG is THE position to address.

Drafting wings that compliment RJ ain't it fam. RJ still has to compliment RJ. He's not a strong enough playmaker to pair with another wing if we still have the same trio of derelicts tryna get them the ball.

I still haven't scouted Halliburton yet but I'm telling yall, Kira or Cole (if Kira is gone ) is the pick. The eye test says both will be better under NBA spacing and rules. Cole in particular will prob look 1000X better than his UNC season.

The Killian guy is french right? IDGAF...DO NOT DRAFT ANOTHER FRENCH PG at 8! I'm not even gonna youtube this dude. Nope. FOH. We still waiting on your knick fan-overrated countrymen nuts to drop. Nope. FOH.

I don't know shyt about Toppin, Reed, Vassell, or whoever the fukk. I know they are possibly available at 8 in a weak draft and they aren't PG's. Therefore, for the sake of their careers! And the needs of the NY Knicks....they better draft a point guard.

***I still see Frank included in some of your future lineups and rotations :scust:
When the fukk are yall gonna move on?? This kid aint shyt!!! If his defense was what yall think it is, it would have stolen us at least ONE ballgame we had no business winning in 3 years. It has NEVER!
Yes Frank is versatile enough on D to be fried in crunch time by the likes of Kyrie up to Paul George. Yay mufukkas. So what, he can match up with them. He still gets cooked. You can acquire a Frank from the G League. Fight me :yeshrug:

Shams had a report out that indicated the Knicks, Pistons and Suns will all be interested in adding FVV this offseason. That would reduce the need to draft a PG if they landed him. I still might take Kira even if we signed him, but if FVV was our top target then my draft board might rearrange a little.

So we about to overpay FVV? Even worst we going to take a CAA client SG/PF, not get FVV and have no PG but whoever we draft at #27

I think the Raps keep him at all costs too, but they do have some interesting cap decisions on the horizon (supposedly they're trying to keep space to chase Giannis). With FVV, I don't mind kicking the tires at least...dude has been cooking for two seasons running with the post season included for both. We probably don't get him, but it's not like this FA class is too good to waste time making sure.

Frank literally helped us win two of our biggest wins this season with his defense down the stretch... :mjlol:

FVV is a guy a star player would come play with too. And if not, he’s probably easy to trade. Who wouldn’t want a player like him? (Besides nikkas in here...)

If the Knicks offer FVV that bag, and they should, he's coming to the Knicks.

The Knicks should be adding two PGs this offseason anyway.

raps are giving him the max and can offer him da most money. lowry wont be startin for much longer. he aint leaving.

its a good sigining for them, based on their make up, but us investing 100 milly into anyone right now who isnt a bonafied star wouldnt be smart. we still trying to figure things out

Typically, sure, but a player like him or like Malcolm Brogdon are types of players you can add no matter what direction you decide to go.

I want him, I just don’t know if he is a max player because for him to come to NY from the Raptors I am pretty sure he is asking for the Max.

Anyhow even at the Max isn’t the worst issue. The worst issue is they draft someone like Obi expecting FVV in free agency.

I'd offer him 4 years and between 80-90 million. 22.5 on the high end and 20 on the low end. I believe the Raptors will match that but I'd at least force them to make that decision. There are Giannis rumors, Lowry is making a ton at the same position and they also have to pay Pascal soon. Even with all of that, I do agree with you that the Raptors would probably pay now and figure out how to make space later...but I'd give it a try.

I do feel you about overpaying guys before we get a superstar; but I also think it's gonna be infinitely easier to land a superstar if we have a playmaker on the team that can boost the value of all our other assets.

And OG is gonna get paid, plus Terrance Davis is a starter and RFA next season, IIRC. TOR's books could get filled up pretty quickly.
