I think the Frank debate is beaten to death, but this notion that Timmy didn't perform terribly is a new twist that I'd like these guys to explore further. :lolbron:
You’re telling me Timmy just suddenly became a better player in Dallas? U realize this season is right in line with his ‘18 season in NY and ‘17 season in ATL. But now because he in Dallas contributing on a playoff team he’s so much better.

:heh:

U think him being “trash” on the Knicks has nothing to do with him having too much offensive load and injuries?

Timmy has NBA skills that can help any team he’s a microwave, he can shoot the ball with range, he’s a good fast break finisher. In Dallas he plays in a much more natural role for him on a much better team.

Timmy is trash as a first or second option. He's solid as a 6th Man or third to fourth option and floor spacer.

you're taking in timmy in a vacuum. dallas fans loathe him for the same reasons hawks fans did and he's expendable to them.

Timmy wasn't trash on the Knicks. Timmy had too large of an offensive role and had injuries. Timmy had some of the best months and monster games of his career on the Knicks during the '18 and '19 season. Hardaway has not changed much as a player on Dallas, he is simply playing with a lot more talent and in a more natural role. He is playing next to a superstar who is getting him the best looks of his career and he is now a 3rd to 4th option on any given night.

Trey Burke balled his ass off on the Knicks. He literally rejuvenated his career with us. He was actually underutilized in Philly then waived and picked up by Dallas where he has been killing it.

Frank was one of the bum nikkas that didn't deserve those minutes he was horrific that season and should have been in the G-League. :umad:

Knox didn't have one bad season. Knox has been among the worst players in the NBA through his two full seasons.

Rui, MPJ, and Mikal would be fine here those players are much more polished and hungry than the crepe.

MPJ's back is fukked and he struggles on defense but he literally scores in his sleep just by cutting, cleaning up the glass, and catching and shooting, simple things that Bambi can't do.
Only thing we agree on is frank shouldve been in the g league more

@ISO Timmy is not that good breh with the knicks. He’s improved with the other teams and they’ve found roles to utilize him. Not hating on him because I’m a big fan of Timmy because he’s from around my area in Miami and went to school with my stepsisters and cousins.

I remember seeing countless games where his father was embarrassed to be in the audience looking at his son fail.
:mjcry:
I dunno what games this fool was watching but he went from Atlanta playing like :mjgrin:To NY playing like :mjcry:To Dallas playing like .

My nikka it's way too early to be drinking like this :scust:
You must've not seen the games where RJ scored 27 pts and all of a sudden Peyton and Randle froze him out, not passing the ball to him at all while Frank was also benched the rest of the game and Reggie Bullock closed the game out for the remaining 10 mins of the 4th quarter. There were multiple games like that.

Outside of Morris and Gibson, them vets were hating.

During his rookie, he showed some promise. He regressed in his sophomore year and was legit trash. Cost us KAT in the end of the season :pacspit:
There's a reason why he was demoted to the G-League for stretch of time when he was traded to Atlanta. Hawks coaching staff had to get the Knicksy stench off and turn into a functional player which they did.

Not sure what you're talking about. He's the exact same player.

On other teams they found "roles" to utilize him because they were much better teams it's that simple.

If we drafted Donovan Mitchell instead of your bum ass boy for instance Timmy would have been a 6th Man.

Timmy is trash as a first or second option. He's solid as a 6th Man or third to fourth option and floor spacer.

We can track Timmy's regression with the Knicks by FG% really clearly, so no his numbers aren't in line with ATL.
He dropped from 42% as a rookie to 38% under the Knicks watch. Got traded to ATL where he climbed back to 43% after developmental stints and reduced minutes. The next season he hit a career high 45% with the Hawks before signing with the Knicks where the regression comes back. He drops to 42% and follows that up shooting 39% from the field. Then he gets to Dallas where he returns to form shooting about 43%. He's played 7 seasons and all three of his full seasons away from the Knicks happen to be with the highest efficiency of his career.

Now I think you're completely right when you point out that; Timmy looked like trash on the Knicks because of the role he was placed in and what he was asked to do. I'm glad that you realize role and coaching can play into how a player performs and whether or not they look useful out there...I just think that logic applies to everyone on the roster. A bunch of players being misused on a poorly constructed roster that hides their value if it exists.
