I don't know what game you saw but Ayton was average at best his freshman year. Booker was a star.

Now let's go to the rookie Knox first year. He was averaging about 15 to 20 ppg. Perry and Mills brought in Morris and Randle to mentor him, they took his minutes. Every fukk up he had brought him to the bench.

The vets also tried to bogard RJ from growing. Booker did not have vets stealing his shine in neither year nor did Ayton. You basically made no point.

Ironically, they did better 2 seasons ago than last season before the vets.

Kevin Durant was shooting 30 percent during his rookie season as well.

When you watch the playoffs it’s crazy how far away the Knicks are when you think about it. Look at all the young stars shining. People like Luka Mitchell Murray Jokic Tatum Embiid etc. The Knicks don’t have anyone in the same ballpark as those guys.

Even a team like the suns who didn’t make the playoffs have Booker and Ayton. You PRAY that RJ will be as good a player that Booker is right now. So talking about anyone on the Knicks roster being untouchable is laughable

I've thought this but never said it because I don't wanna muck up the thread with negativity, but this team isn't much better than a freshly minted expansion team The Knicks have cap space, a plethora of picks, and location to it's advantage, so situation wise the Knicks aren't in a terrible position (It's not great either), but talent wise it's pretty bad.

It'd be a good buy low move as long as he's not looking for an extension right away. I'd be down for it, people forget how good he is when healthy.

Those teams were built off of rookies. Just imagine if Booker and Ayton had 35 year old bums getting major minutes off of them during their sophomore year and everytime they fukked up in the 10 min per game, they were benched. That's shytty coaching. Those guys need significant minutes and good coaching to develop their confidence and skills. If not, put them in the D leagues temporarily and monitor their progress. If I don't see these rookies getting 35+min per game this next season, it's fukk the Knicks, I'm outta here permanently. The only 2 guys, I understood getting benched due to foul trouble were Frank and Mitch.

Knicks fans overrate their young players I mean you see how they are with Ntilikina.

Both those guys are assets but they aren't untradeable.

Mitchell Robinson is not untradeable he's a defensive oriented, rim runner with a serious foul issue. There's guys like Mitchell Robinson in every draft go look at Jaxson Hayes in New Orleans or Robert Williams in Boston. These players have a ceiling in terms of impact it's why Houston traded Clint Capela and why the Jazz may not max Rudy Gobert this offseason.

Mitchell is really good with potential but he's not untradeable. That word should only be reserved for franchise type players.

Yeah frank is a backup defensive specialist on a good team. I remember knicks fans overrating bums like Gallinari and Wilson Chandler too.

Luka Doncic is untradable. Nobody on this roster is untradable.

I could definitely see RJ, Mitch, Frank and Knox learning a lot from him and benefit from the spacing. We never really had a nikka who could lead by example, the closest was Mook but that wasnt long term.

Gallo and Wilson Chandler weren’t bums

Both solid 10 year pros and that’s with a shyt ton of injuries derailing them I wish Knox and Ntilikina were anywhere near as good as they were at 20, 21 years old.

I agree no one on this roster is untradeable though.
