Yea because those teams know how to use their players and have great coaches haven’t you thought of that?:comeon:

keep blaming the players but never have any static for the front office/coaches brehs.

Bet you couldn’t wait to run on the coli to tell us this:pachaha:
OKC fans always shyt on Billy Donovan in fact he may be fired after tonight but alright dog he’s a tremendous coach gawd tier. :bryan:

The fact of the matter is if Billy Donovan were on New York. Frank would still be the same nikka and he would still pull his ass for doing the same dumb shyt like telegraphing passes, fouling every 5 minutes, and passing up open shots.

The excuses are so tired bu bu but they know how to use their players :mjcry:

Fytb? :comeon: :laff:

The thing about Mitch is if we don’t extend him that we have to risk other teams offering him a crazy contract as a RFA..basically Jeremy Lin 2.0 where we could lose him for nothing

Define "crazy contract." Centers in the mold of a DeAndre Jordan or Clint Capela with limited offensive skills aren't really getting paid an obscene amount of money. He can be used in a trade package to trade up for Ball while his value will be at highest peak before he hits RFA if the Knicks decline his team option.

True, i think we all consider a 4 Year, 80 mil contract a lot for Mitch. Lets say he was a RFA this off season, Teams like the pelicans, pistons, or kings would offer something around that range for him. On the right team he could be the missing piece. The key to his value for us is the fact that he's making less than 2 mil a year and out playing his contract. In comparison we're paying Randle 63 mil over 3 years and that's just to pad his stats all season. So a 16-20 mil a year type of contract isn't really too much as far as the knicks are concerned for a player they view as an essential piece for the future.

My whole argument was that flipping Mitch to a team like the warriors who can use a proven big like that on a cheap rookie contract, more than they need the #2 pick makes sense for us.
A package of Mitch,Reggie Bullock, and DSJ...For the #2 pick, and maybe a future 2nd rounder seems like a win-win situation. We Could Always find another defensive big.
Draft Lamelo with #2
Maybe a Obi Toppin slips to #8 and we grab him there
and we'd still have 2 more picks and this draft!

Dort isn’t p*ssy he was left open and took 16 shots in 23 minutes last game.

He’s going to play with motor and confidence regardless.

Do you think Dort has never caught a DNP or been pulled early that’s regular for young players. Stop acting like Frank doesn’t play ample time.

3 seasons, 178 games, 56 starts, 21 minutes.

When will the excuses stop? It’s clear as day on the court. His motor and athleticism and burst is different and he doesn’t hesitate to shoot. He’s a hungry underdog player.

My post was simple stop overvaluing these nikkas!
Frank doesn’t hesitate to shoot anymore. He was letting shyt go all season. Just missed them bytches.

mitch getting the frank treatment in this thread now :dead:

i want them to extend him and think 4 for 60 or even 70 would be fair depending on his play next year. theyll probably have to overpay, but that's fine. he has major room to grow as a player while already being impactful.
he just set the all time FG% record and now he's trade bait to move up in a weak draft :russ:

So I think the knicks so draft a PG and then take Conley’s 1 year contract to “mentor” the youth and get the 23 pick from the Jazz as payment. Then package that and 27 to move up. fukk around we could come away with Vassell and Kira

:hubie:
I also think we should buy low on Jerami Grant, and Frank and lock them up on team friendly deals

:yeshrug:

Conley/Kira/Frank
RJ/Vassell
Jerami Grant/ Knox
Randle/ Braz
Mitch/ Taj

Then play the youth heavy

I really like the idea of taking Conley for a year if we get a pick in the deal. I've kinda resigned to DJ Augustin being our most likely vet PG next season. I like the alternative of Conley and a pick a lot more. Especially if we package it to move up for Kira. Vassell becomes the safe pick and Kira's the home run swing.

...Also I'm still holding out hope we work some magic to move Randle :mjcry:

Mitch Robinson being traded for Lamelo fukking Ball would be the straw that break my fandom's back.

Dort has a 23 point game in the regular season. He scored 30 points in a game 7 of the playoffs. He’s a rookie.

Frank has one 20 point game in 3 seasons. His career high internationally is 26 points.

I like Mitch.

I’m just saying don’t overvalue him. He’s not a $20M player and guys like him can be found and his player archetype is limited and teams are starting to realize that.
