We gotta eventually stop relying on getting better through the draft and losing all the time. It's not like son is old or something he'd without question help the direction of the team. Or should look to more tanking after getting screwed in the lottery constantly?
i dont trust our drafting ability
im all for spending money on a player if it makes sense

The east will be better next season and we'd need our young guys to take a leap/lunge in order to compete for the offs. Other than that, I'm in total agreement
Of course, by compete i mean anywhere from 7th to 10th seed. And who knows, maybe getting the 11th or 12th best odds means we finally hop into the top of the lottery this time.

That 8th seed is gonna be a bloodbath to get, man. We know the first 7 are gonna be BOS, BK, TOR, PHI, MIL, MIA and IND. That last seed could be anyone between the Wizard, Pistons, Magic, and depending on development the Hawks, Bulls or even the Hornets. This is probably the toughest the East been in a minute. :picard:

Any of CP3, Horford and VanVleet improve this team basketball I.Q. by a thousand and they bring good professionalism/work ethic and vast playoff experience.

Also, the NBA is going to look very diffferent next year. :wow:
If the Knicks are signing any player this year and saying that he is the man with the green light then they fooling themselves. If they signing FVV to make the team better and fill a role . Then try to also have him improve cool. You can’t sign him saying he’s definitely gonna suddenly Start averaging 23 and 8 and 5 or something

He’s gonna excel in Thibs system the small guards do their thing with him.

He’s obviously a building block the first step to fill that PG position, but we also need to acquire a 3&D SG, and a stretch 4.

Thats pretty much it. The idea of bringing him here would be to fill the role we would want CP3 to fill, more or less. I dont think anybody wants Fred here to put up crazy all star numbers or anything.

I think that’s what a lot of people think who are complaining. He fits Thibs style and the teams need . If he produces the same he’s been producing great and Everything extra will be a bonus . He plays defense and is tough so I think he has a Real good fit with thibs

The THJR comparisons are completely retarded to me and shows a lack of understanding. When THJR was signed we all knew how it could potentially go wrong if the Knicks didn't do certain things...and then the Knicks didn't do them. We all knew Tim was disguised on the Hawks....we DRAFTED the nikka. We knew who he was. A streak shooter with below average defensive skills....I know y'all not calling FVV any of that

Whether we trust it or not, our future is tied to our ability to draft well.

We gon have to compete with BK, Celtics, The Raps and Philly for years to come... :sadcam:
That's what I'm saying...these are the team's the Knicks are gonna see more than anyone else. We're not making the playoffs this season even if we take a leap in this monstrous division.

He closed the 2019 NBA Finals.

He averaged 17/4/6 with 2 steals and shot 39% from 3 on nearly 7 attempts and he’s one of the best defensive guards in basketball.

He can shoot, he has quickness, he has strength, he can run P&R’s, he can defend on-ball and was the league leader in deflections this year off-ball. On offense he can also play on and off the ball.

He’s only 25 years old. What is the problem?

You know what. It’s not the worst idea as long as these a$$holes don’t stop and act like he can fix the team
:ehh:

It's funny cause if got FVV he'd be our best shooting pg since Felton or Calderon (:scust:)
Don't put Felton in that discussion...dude was a below average shooter. Jose shot great for us so he gets the nod 41% shooting from 3 in the 14 & 15
